Despair Mode
This is a simple challenge mode mod that updates all of the Madness Corruptors to have additional effects to make the game slightly more challenging, and hopefully more fun.
Comes with several difficulties that unlock effects for the Madness corruptors, so feel free to turn down the difficulty.
Despair mode is only for the masochistic among you. It is most likely not even fun, and certainly isn't balanced. Good luck. You'll need it.
This has not been tested in multiplayer yet, so let me know if there are any issues!

| Equality | Get worse card rewards in Act 1 but better rewards in Act 4. |

| Random Combats | At the start of every turn, a random Hero and Monster gains Bless. |

Installation (manual)
- Download and install BepInEx
- Click Manual Download at the top of the page.
- In Steam, right-click Across the Obelisk and select Manage->Browse local files.
- Extract the archive into the game folder. Your Across the Obelisk folder should now contain a BepInEx folder and a doorstop_libs folder.
- Run the game.
- Press F5 to open/close the Config Manager
Installation (automatic)
- Download and install Thunderstore Mod Manager or r2modman.
- Click Install with Mod Manager button on top of the page.
- Run the game via the mod manager.
