BigDJ
Music mode for Big Walk voice chat.
BigDJ lets you stream music through your proximity voice channel without the speech processing and voice-activity gating that normally destroy music playback.
What it does
Big Walk's voice chat is tuned for conversation:
- It only transmits when it detects a voice.
- It applies noise suppression and other voice-processing effects.
That works well for talking, but it is a poor fit for music.
BigDJ makes the change with a single hotkey:
- Enable music mode to stream audio continuously and without voice processing.
- Toggle it off to restore the normal voice-chat behavior.
Installation
- Install this package with your Thunderstore mod manager.
- Make sure the required dependencies are installed.
- Launch Big Walk and use the configured hotkey to turn music mode on or off.
