Temporal Echoes

Temporal Echoes is a small online message and photo sharing system for BONELAB. You can leave floating chat bubbles or take photos in a level, and other players using the mod can discover them later in the same place.

Features

• Leave public message echoes from BoneMenu.
• Echoes are saved per level and synced online.
• Take photos using the Echo Camera.
• Photos are uploaded online and appear for other players in the same level.
• Choose your name and bubble color.
• Messages appear as glowing chat bubbles that you can read by reaching toward them.
• Toggle the mod on or off from BoneMenu.
• Reload echoes for the current level from BoneMenu.
• View and delete your own new echoes in My Echoes.
• Sensitive word detection.

How To Use

Creating Message Echoes

1. Open BoneMenu.
2. Open Temporal Echoes.
3. Set Your Name and Echo Color if you want.
4. Type your message in Message Body.
5. Press Create Echo.

When another player loads the same level and downloads echoes, your message bubble can appear there for them too.

Taking Photos

1. Spawn or equip the Echo Camera.
2. Aim at whatever you want to capture.
3. Press the shutter button to take a photo.
4. The photo will be uploaded automatically.
5. Other players using the mod can discover and view it when they load the same level.

Messages and photos are public. Please do not post passwords, tokens, private information, illegal content, hateful content, sexual content, harassment, threats, or suspicious links.

I cannot manually review every message or photo, but unsafe content may be removed when found. Submitted messages and photos may be stored, downloaded, displayed, moderated, or deleted.

Notes

• Online features require the echo server to be reachable.
• Photos also require the echo server to be reachable.
• If the server is down or blocked, locally cached echoes and photos may still appear.
