README

this was made with the ai slop of universal-modder here, it combines the real minecraft engine with Bonelab, I wanted to experiment with how it works within vr games like Bonelab, Enjoy

minelab

Mine BONELAB's world like Minecraft. Punch, shoot, smash or crash things into walls and floors and they break block by block, with Minecraft's mining speeds, crack animation, particles and sounds. A real copy of Minecraft runs in the background as the rules engine.

PC only

Features

  • Punch with a closed fist to mine
  • Shoot blocks: each bullet mines by its damage.
  • Melee: blunt weapons smash anything
  • Physics: heavy objects crashing into blocks break them.
  • Holes are real: dig into the ground, or break through walls to the other side.
  • Blocks match the surface: concrete becomes concrete, metal becomes iron, wood becomes planks.
  • BoneMenu settings: turn breaking on or off per type, change damage multipliers and sound volume.

Requirements

BONELAB (PC, Steam)

  • MelonLoader 0.6.6 and BoneLib 3.2.2

Minecraft

  • Minecraft Java Edition 26.3
  • Fabric Loader 0.19.5+ and Fabric API 0.161.0+26.3
  • The Bonecraft Fabric mod which is in the zip folder (also need fabric API)

How to play

  1. Start Minecraft and open any singleplayer world (doing creative mode would have instant breaking while survival mode would have you take actual hits). Minecraft also mutes itself while connected.
  2. Start BONELAB. It connects to Minecraft automatically.
  3. Leave Minecraft running in the background and start breaking things.

Notes

  • No Minecraft files are included. Textures and sounds are read from your own copy of Minecraft.
  • Running both games at once needs a decent PC.
