This mod requires the following mods to function
MtG_API-Mod_the_Gungeon_API
Adds the good parts of Mod the Gungeon to BepInEx.
Preferred version: 1.9.2README
What
This mod completely disables the Steam platform interface and Steam integrations in Enter the Gungeon.
Why
On Linux / Steam Deck, attempting to run modded Gungeon through the standard launcher script will cause Gungeon to panic that it's not being run through Steam. At best, Gungeon will restart itself with Steam integrations enabled and mods disabled. At worst, the game will crash. This mod prevents both of those things, allowing Modded Gungeon to run on Linux with fewer hacky workarounds.
Who
If you want to play modded Gungeon on Linux without having to manually shuffle Steam integration DLLs around, this mod is for you. If you are anyone else, this mod is not for you.
Where
Stuff Steamroller.dll in your .../steamapps/common/Enter the Gungeon/BepInEx/plugins/ in your plugins folder. If you use a mod manager, this step should happen automatically.
When
Now, later, whenever, I don't care, go nuts. O:
