Knife to a gunfight

:Boom and Gloom Update 2.0._:

A Large Content Mod for enter the Gungeon that adds a number of new items, weapons and gameplay!

Each addition strives to bring unique concepts while also sticking closely to a vanilla style.

To spawn my custom items in the console my extension is ski:

  • Introducing! Morgun La Faye's mystical oddities shop: Shop that contains Jinxed items that will help and hurt the player and cannot be dropped

  • Changed Violence into more polished version.

  • Changed Magic Man to have a portal mechanic instead of its old jank

  • Changed Name of HotShot to Sizzler to avoid clashing with F&GF's wander starter

  • Changed Superstitious bullets with new mechanics

  • Changed Android reactor core to now use high stress as opposed to putting the player at 1 hp perminantly. lowered base damage.

  • Changed Mournful soul to now charge 20 casings per floor as opposed to costing health when gaining curse.

  • Changed Stopdarock to now upgrade speed per floor based on hits its taken. This means the jumpy behaviour is gone.

  • Changed Purifier (Holy hand grenade) into a real bomb (this also fixes the deck4rd having holy hand grenades as projectiles).

  • Changed Grateful dead to now function based off kills in room instead of corpse objects due to players with lower debris setting getting little use out of it.

  • Changed Eye of the tiger to no longer damage the player to use.

  • Changed Risky headband to give temporary dps boost when narrowly avoiding projectiles.

  • Changed Toy AK no to longer jam above 75% clip capacity and Added indicator for when Jam occurs.

  • Changed A few older sprites to be more in line with the newer ones.

  • Changed HolsterGeist to use a projectile instead of spawning enemies for more consistency in fights.

  • Changed max cap on speedy chamber.

  • Changed Devilish loan note to base the Max cap of casings based on the floor it was picked up on.

  • Buffed Sheila's vrs. boss damage greatly.

  • Buffed Hipp0; balancing into C-tier up from D-tier. Increased clipsize and shot speed per shot.

  • Buffed duration of speed boost for slide tech slide.

  • Buffed Illness status to Have a higher base damage.

  • Buffed Monkey Barrel's speed.

  • Buffed Sushi roll items with new sprites and collision/roll effects.

  • Nerfed Charge rifle to have a max cap on its damage and higher damage fall off for smaller hitboxes, also reduced ammo.

  • Fixed Issue where bloodbulons could not function in manic theatre mode.

  • Fixed Chamber of Chambers to work off moving bullets instead of stat manipulation.

  • Fixed weird behavior where jar of stardust would trigger when gaining max health.

  • Fixed an issue where Dullahan's Curse would cause wallmonger's camera movement to stop working.

  • Made Kool kat bucks droppable.

  • Removed Dizzy ring and koolbucks from standard loot.

  • Fixed an issue where rollin would fall out of the carts in the mines special room.
  • Fixed an issue where sludge pump shots would cause lag if they projectiles stay around too long.
  • Fixed an oversight with the watchman's charged form where it would deal WAY to much damage to bosses.

  • Fixed an issue where ouroboros charm would not properly give beam weapons infinite ammo
  • Fixed an issue with 2d manuvering belt where hitting two walls at the same time with a hook would softlock the player (im so sorry)

  • Doubled Extra Invuln time on The Pill. 2 sec > 3 sec
  • Updated wobbly Cylinder to change firerate every 3 seconds instead of every shot to reduce lag

  • ReEnabled the Manic theatre Npcs and the Charm shrine from where I forgot to turn them back on after testing.
  • Fixed a bad interaction where Ouroboros charm would make guns that are out of ammo unusable.
  • Fixed an issue where life insurance would remember its broken state between multiple runs and not proc properly.
  • Fixed an issue where Manic theatre would not properly kill the player if they had armor.

  • Buffed and nerfed many guns ( Feel free to try out some of the bad ones again :D )

  • Charms have been split into Rarity Levels to allow for more power flexability. (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Legendary)

    • Added a number of new charms in various rarities
  • Reworked a lot of the more dull or janky Jinx Items:

    • Reversed Built Different's damage scaling to give increased damage for each half heart the player has as opposed to ones missing
    • Withering rose now has actual thorn orbitals that damage on contact
    • Hell bound now has a large ball and chain that can be kicked around, slow effect only applies when dragging the ball
    • Armor of the Fallen now gives buffs when flying over pits instead of falling in them, gives flight
    • Greedy clips is now triggered by shooting while reloading to instantly reload for more player control of the effect
    • Wicker Heart has a chance to increase healing received
    • Yokai Finger Trap's spawned companion now shoots homing projectiles to better apply the hex effect
    • As well as some number tweaks on other Jinxes to make them slightly more favorable to the player
  • Upgraded the U.S.B. to include around 40 total forms, instead of just 8

  • Reworked Long roll boots to only apply extended roll while over pits

  • Lowered Skater's room drop modifier and improved coolness shop prices / rewards.

  • Greatly improved Dwarve's Friends Depth based scaling

  • Violence no longer jams enemies on hit instead having 2 curse and has greater base damage to compensate

  • Greatly Improved Timekeeper's damage scaling and bullet tracking for highnoon

  • Improved visuals and feel for some old items and guns

  • Slightly reduced charm prizeball spawn rate in shops

  • Changed Witch Watch to no longer teleport back automatically upon time ending.

  • Fixed Thumper not triggering detonation when colliding with walls

  • Fixed and issue where TimeKeeper would cause the game to go pitch black after a specific sequence of events (it's complicated...)

  • Fixed incorrect damage scaling for clock charm and Macro Missiles (scaling was WAY too high breaking boss dps cap)

  • Fixed some issues with charm attached weapons having uninteded or nonfunctional effects when dropped and picked up

  • Fixed Luna 1 ignoring it's own damage modifiers

  • Fixed Stopda Rock just not working at all...

  • Fixed an issue with bear arms and beams weapons interacting strangely

  • Fixed a bad interaction with the resourceful Rat Sack and the Skater's roll gimick

  • Fixed Lag issues related to some bad code I wrote affecting, Kingly shotgun, Kralle and Tall-tale Hat

  • Fixed an issue where Devilish loan note would give less than it was supposed to, as it did not calculate its own shop price into the loan calculation\
