Hunt: Showdown Scottfield Model 3

The Scottfield Model 3 chambered in 44-40 from Hunt: Showdown!

I've been building up to this one. Not out of any sort of saving it for last kind of way, but more of a cumulative learning process kind of way. I had to learn a lot to be able to tackle this the way I wanted and I believe it came out pretty nice. I hope you enjoy it.

This is pretty much as close to a virtual replica of a Schofield I could manage. The least realistic part is the fact you can fan it since you can in Hunt: Showdown.

You can unlock the gun by the usual unlock button on a break action shotgun, or you can grab the barrel of the gun and press the same button on the hand grabbing the barrel. If you press the button on the hand holding the gun, the barrel will drop free and eject the rounds. If you grab it by the barrel and open it, you can open it carefully and let the extractor snap without ejecting the rounds so you can pick them out carefully, or you can slam it open to eject the rounds quick.

You can flick the gun closed after refilling it but be careful, if the barrel flips back to the ejection position it will blast out all of the rounds again.

SCOTTFIELD MODEL 3 (See also REVOLVERS, UNIQUE WEAPONS) A break-action handgun originally patented in Europe around 1858. This gun relies on a hinge pin that joins the receiver and barrel together which can allow the two pieces to be separated for storage and travel. Unhinging the revolver exposes the breech and allows individual bullets to be added to the barrel. An owner who manages their ammo and times their shots can use the Scottfield Model 3 to pin down an opponent with continuous gunfire in a fight.
