BubbleLevelSet
Attachable bubble levels and 30 mm scope mounts with integrated bubble and cosine indicators for long-range shooting.
Install
- Install with a Thunderstore mod manager. It installs required dependencies automatically.
- Manual installs require OtherLoader.
- NightForcePlus
1.0.5uses BubbleLevelSet2.0.4for its Black mount. Its Thunderstore dependency installs this package automatically.
Included
| Item | Use |
|---|---|
| 30 mm black mount | Scope mount with cosine indicator and bubble level. |
| 30 mm tan mount | Tan variant of the integrated mount. |
| Attachable bubble level | Compact rail-mounted level. |
| Offset bubble level | Level positioned off the rail centerline. |
| Bubble-level rail | Rail-mounted vial with visible travel. |
| Bubble level without housing | Minimal exposed-vial variant. |
Behavior
- Bubble follows world gravity, not local Euler angles.
- Liquid-style spring and drag make cant response smooth; it returns gradually to center.
- Travel stops keep bubble inside vial, including inversion and fast handling.
- A rail mounted 180 degrees backwards still moves toward same world uphill side.
- Rail calibration: at least
0.1local-unit travel at 1 degree of cant; full travel by 4 degrees.
In game
- Spawn a level or 30 mm mount and attach it to a compatible rail or scope.
- Hold rifle level. Bubble centers in reference mark.
- Cant rifle left or right. Bubble moves toward uphill side.
- Reverse a rail mount if needed; gravity response remains physically consistent.
Release notes
Current release: 2.0.4.
- Bubble movement is now shared with NightForcePlus, so both use the same gravity, damping, and travel-limit behavior.
- Existing BubbleLevelSet items and controls remain unchanged.

CHANGELOG
BubbleLevelSet Changelog
All notable release changes are recorded here.
2.0.4 — Unified bubble motion
Changed
- BubbleLevelSet and NightForcePlus now use the same gravity, damping, and travel-limit motion source.
- Existing BubbleLevelSet items, component identities, and serialized prefab references remain compatible.
- NightForcePlus
1.0.5declares BubbleLevelSet2.0.4as its Black mount dependency. The mount remains supplied by this package.
Verified
- Windows Unity runtime checks, MeatKit packaging, package-boundary checks, and H3VR in-game testing passed before release.
2.0.3 — Gravity behavior update
Fixed
- Bubble follows gravity projected onto final vial axis.
- Reverse/180-degree rails now move toward same real-world uphill side.
- Hard travel stops prevent bubble escape during inversion and rapid handling.
Improved
- Damped spring response gives liquid-like movement and gradual return to center.
- Rail level moves at least
0.1local units at 1 degree cant and reaches travel limit by 4 degrees.
Verified
- Unity checks cover sensitivity, nested attachments, reverse mounting, damping, inversion, and travel limits.
- User confirmed corrected reverse-rail behavior in H3VR.
2.0.2
Fixed
- Disabled conflicting legacy controller on 30 mm mounts.
- Stabilized mount bubble motion.
2.0.1
Changed
- Small tweaks and new icon.
2.0.0
Added
- Black and tan 30 mm mounts.
1.0.2
Fixed
- Rotation bugs.
1.0.0
Added
- Initial BubbleLevelSet release.
