Simple Shelves
A set of simple, easy to use shelves for all your decorating and gun storage needs. A perfect companion for the fantastic SafehouseProgression mod.
What is Included
Ver 1.0.0
- 5 new cases, made from plywood, with a variety of shelf numbers
How to Spawn
Use the new item spawner and check under the 'Tools and Toys' tab. The third 'white' category should contain various furniture, including your new shelves.
How to Use
Each shelf has a grab point near its center. Even for shelves that do not have a middle board, the grab point will still be floating in the center.
To use these shelves like a pro, I recommend use of the 'Toolbox' spawned via the wrist menu.
- Find and spawn the shelf you want to place.
- Orient the shelf to your liking. You can use the Rotato and Tractor tools to fine tune. Or do what I do and press the shelf into a wall of your scene so that it flat against the wall.
- Use the Locker tool and lock both physics (object) and player (hand). This keeps the shelf from being bumped by objects or accidentally picked up by you while placing weapons.
- Use the Cloner tool to copy the locked shelf, then place the new shelf anywhere you desire. You can use this to quickly place multiple shelves that will not be affected by physics or grabbing.
- If you need to move shelves again, you can use the Tractor tool, or unlock once more with the Locker tool.
