README

Hideout Hanswurst - Supply Raid Character

This is a long readme, but it's necessary. If you're not reading it, you'll probably end up very confused :(

Hideout Hanswurst is a sort-of-sequel to Safehouse Saffron by Packer, based on HideoutProgression by NGA; the sequel to his Safehouse Mod. This Character and the suggested playstyle is supposed to mimic Extraction Shooters: somewhat 'realistic' with a focus on risk vs. reward and a long-term progression of sorts.

Hideout Hanswurst Rules

This character works as-is, but in order to better emulate games like Tarkov or Contractors Showdown, you're highly encouraged to force a certain playstyle on yourself. I have no idea how to code, so in the end they are 'house rules'... nobody is stopping you to play the way you desire. Anyway here's my mandatory personal laws suggestions:

Your Hideout can be set to any scene and decorated as you wish as long as it has one or more

New Item Spawner (v3) Ammo Spawn Panel Recycling Bin Progression Tablet (Hideout Progression Mod)

Hideout:

  • Check the Progression table below. You may buy any 'allowed' Item in the Item spawner at their default price. Ammo and Magazines have to be purchased in a special way:
  • You have to manually withdraw and throw away a certain amount of cash to 'buy' Ammo or Magazines. (By default Ammo in the Ammo Spawner is free and all Magazines have the same price regardless of size.)
  • You may purchase Ammo Boxes for free as long as you empty them immediately. Any Ammo that comes included in an unrelated purchase must be dumped right away. (e.g. when buying new Mags or your Single Action Revolver comes with a free Bullet).
  • You may sell anything you looted from your Raid.
  • Once you purchased a Hotdog (Tier 2), Horseshoe (Tier 3) and Hand Grenade (Tier 4) from a Raid, put them in your Hideout somewhere. You're now 'officially' allowed to shop in the respective higher Tiers.

Raid:

  • Play with the recommended Settings: 3000 HP, All Items lost on Death, no respawn, Limited Ammo. Game Length 5 or more. Always start at Level 0. You can load the preset (Hanswurst's Hints) for convenience. Feel free to make the game harder, tho.
  • You may only extract when near a shop (=conquer next supply point or walk back to the last one).
  • Trying to sell anything in the shops will yield no Money. You may deposit Funds from your wallet if you brought any from your Hideout.
  • After taking the second (third/fourth) Supply Point, you will be able to purchase a 'Tier 2 (3/4) Unlocker'. These are Items that you may take to your Hideout.

Recommended Mods

At it's core, this Character is designed AVAP (As vanilla as possible). That being said, there are certain mods that I either personally really enjoy using or make a lot of sense for what the Character is going for design-wise.

Feedback

Do you have suggestions on how to implement certain features better? Balancing/Skill Issues™? Wanna tell me I'm the coolest guy in the universe? Wanna tell me I'm a huge doodoo-head? Hit me up on the 'H3VR Modding' or 'H3VR Homebrew' discord (homunk91). I'm rarely online but check in every now and then.

CHANGELOG

1.0.3

  • Added 'Grounded Fictional' set to the loot tables. Has barely any impact in vanilla, but enables modded guns to show up (given they're tagged properly.) Still no memeguns or futuristic stuff. If you really crave a yolosight for your laser gun, buy that in the item spawner when no one is looking :P
  • Added Herobrine (Haha, I'm so funny)
  • Removed Herobrine (2012 wants their jokes back. Also nobody is reading changelogs)

1.0.2

  • Added Price Overview to Shop Panel. No more reaching a milestone and finding out you cant purchase it!
  • Fixed ItemIDs for the Unlocking Items. They should now properly reward a Hotdog, a Horseshoes and a Hand Grenade (in that order)
  • Removed Ammo drops from loot tables in preparation for the upcoming update (Update 120 - Sosiggun Ammo Conversion). Didn't really work as intended to begin with (Dropping Drum Mags for certain guns at level 0, wtf!)

1.0.1

  • Adjusted the Price of Unlocks.
  • Slightly adjusted Droprates and Loot tables. Added completely random gun as very rare drop.
  • Removed 'Tiny' roundclass from loot tables: every Item dropped should now either be useful or at least sell for a little bit.
  • Shuffled Defender assignments around a bit: getting to the point should be hard(er) but actually taking it should be easier.
  • Tweaked Enemy Faction so player can only start at Level 0. (Hopefully?)
  • Color coded enemy Faction for readability: Red/Brown for Guards, Green for Patrols, Black/Grey/Civ for Roamers.
