MLE (Magazine Lee-Enfield)

The Magazine Lee-Enfield (MLE) was Britain's first rifle to officially carry the Lee-Enfield name, entering service in 1895. It was a long, full-length bolt-action rifle with a roughly 30-inch barrel and a 10-round detachable box magazine.

The MLE was originally loaded by inserting individual cartridges into the magazine. It also had distinctive long-range “volley” sights, intended for massed fire at extended ranges. The long rifle was eventually superseded by the shorter SMLE, introduced in 1904, but many MLEs remained in service or were subsequently converted.

Note

• As part of the old classic style loading, there's a custom part where in order to load the internal magazine, you need to have a bit of force as you load the internal magazine up to full, to simulate spring tension, etc. It won't slurp into the gun like vanilla
