🕯️ Modded Tools — Threads of the Flame Expansion

A Silksong Tool Mod by Thelittlepixel

“This tool pack adds many new tools, inspired by the Wisp Thicket and The Father of The Flame.”

🔥 Overview

This expansion explores the interaction between the Citadel Engineers and the Children of the Flame, adding a suite of wispfire-infused experimental tools.
Each offers a glimpse into their failed attempts to harness divine fire.

📦 Installation

  1. Download this mod’s folder.
  2. Place it inside your BepInEx/plugins/ directory (create it if it doesn’t exist).
  3. Launch the game once to let BepInEx register the plugin.
  4. The tools are seeded throughout Pharloom, but you can also grant them directly:

Ctrl + K Soul Jar
Ctrl + F Thread Igniter
Ctrl + N Wisp Father’s Melody

If installed correctly, each Tool will appear as a unique entry in your Tool List with its own icon and description.

🕯️ Included Tools

🟡 Thread Igniter

“A small candle, lit with wispfire. The smoke curls into frolicking figures who dance around The Father of the Flame.”
Effect: After binding, for a brief time, dashing causes you to vanish in a gout of flame — granting temporary invulnerability.
Location: The Marrow

🟡 Prototype Harvester

“When the architects of the Citadel first interacted with the Children of the Flame, they became bent on harnessing the fire of the wisps. Before the construction was discontinued a vial of distilled wispfire was created.”
Effect: While binding, losing health causes you to spew out lost silk.
Location: Whiteward

🟡 Wisp Father’s Melody

“A slightly smoldering effigy to the Father of the Flame. This small token sparks fiery chants within the bearer’s mind, beckoning pyre pixies to the revelry.”
Effect: As you play the Needolin, fiery wisps erupt around those in the vicinity.
Location: Greymoor / Wisp Thicket

🟡 Plasmium Petri

“A confiscated experiment from a would-be architect. The blue fungus growing inside secretes an all too familiar substance.”
Effect: While equipped, you gain one Plasmium health, sustained by the luminous blue growth thriving within the glass.
Location: Underworks

🟡 Soul Jar

“A small cracked vessel leaking the final remnants of soul. The power of this substance, coveted so greatly by one who wished it twisted to violent means, drove that shaman from fiery worship to tyrannical exile.”
Effect: While equipped, coughs up a couple soul orbs every few moments that replenish silk.
Location: Bilewater

🟡 Merry Maker

“A ritual adornment stitched with thin waxen cords. Tiny candles line its edge, sputtering sparks as the wearer dances. Through motion, a reveler stokes The Flame.”
Effect: When worn, horizontal attacks trail arcs of flame through the air.
Location: Greymoor

🟡 Weaver’s Blades

“The Weavers used such weapons to great effect and devastation. They require incredible finesse and sacrifice to be wielded properly.”
Effect: Needle attacks have reduced reach; each blade darts forth and returns on every strike.
Location: Whispering Vaults

⚙️ Compatibility
