HowToNemo
Replaces the clownfish with Nemo. The model is fitted to whatever fish it replaces, so he still wiggles, cooks and sells like the original.

How to Nemo
Replaces the clownfish with Nemo.
The model is built into the DLL — no asset bundle, nothing to download separately — and it is fitted to whatever mesh the game was about to draw. That means Nemo lands at the right size and the right way round, keeps the fish's bone wiggle, still cooks, still sells, still gets stolen by seagulls. The little preview in your inventory bar, the journal and the shop all get him too.
Settings
Everything is live-editable in Mod Settings if you have ModMenu installed.
| Setting | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
Enabled |
true |
Master switch. |
TargetPrefab |
clownfish |
Which fish gets the model. Any prefab name works — put him on the shark if you like. |
Scale |
1 |
Multiplier on the automatic fit. 1 matches the original fish's length exactly. |
FlipForward / FlipUp |
false |
Turn him around or over if the automatic fit guesses wrong. |
RotateX/Y/Z |
0 |
Extra rotation on top of the automatic fit. |
ReplaceTexture |
true |
Use Nemo's own texture. Off keeps the game's clownfish texture, which will not line up. |
ReplaceInventoryPreview |
true |
Also replace the small preview model in the inventory, journal and shop. |
HideLeftoverParts |
true |
Hide small stock renderers left over after the body is replaced. |
VerboseLogging |
false |
Log every renderer found and how the model was fitted. Turn this on before reporting a placement problem. |
Multiplayer
Purely cosmetic and entirely client-side. Nothing is sent over the network, nothing is saved, and it does not need to match between players — you will see Nemo whether or not anyone else has the mod, and they will see a clownfish whether or not you do.
