CODFish Perks
CODFish Perks by Rey brings a handful of legendary Call of Duty beverages into How To Fish, reimagined as temporary perks carried by drip fish.
Special fish have always been rare, but their purpose usually ends with a skin trade or a sale. CODFish Perks gives every drip fish something else to chase: inspect the fish to discover its perk, then eat it when the moment is right and keep the advantage for a limited time.
Perks
- Stopping Power - Gives your shots a harder punch.
- Juggernaut - Lets you withstand far more incoming damage.
- Speed Cola - Gets you back into action faster after reloading.
- Double Tap - Makes your weapons fire at a faster pace.
- Fizzy Yummy - Gives your movement a noticeable boost.
- Quick Fix - Gradually restores your health and hunger while active.
- Hardline - Improves the score multipliers earned from trickshots.
The perk is assigned to the individual drip fish, so the fish you inspect is the fish you will receive. Perks last for two minutes after eating.
Dynamic system for drip fish
CODFish Perks adds a small decision to every special catch. Do you sell it, trade it, or save it for the next fight?
- Prepare for difficult boss encounters by saving the perk that fits your strategy.
- Make PvP encounters less predictable with temporary advantages that can change the pace of a fight.
- Turn rare catches into meaningful resources instead of another item waiting in storage.
- Inspect before eating so you can make an informed choice instead of gambling with a valuable fish.
- Give trickshots another reason to go for style, especially when Hardline is in play.
- Keep everything in the game with an integrated HUD and no external companion app.
HUD
The in-game HUD shows the active perk and its remaining time. It uses the game's own UI style and can be hidden from the mod settings if you prefer a cleaner screen.
Installation
- Install BepInEx for How To Fish through r2modman or Thunderstore Mod Manager.
- Install CODFish Perks through Thunderstore, or place the mod files in your profile's
BepInEx/pluginsfolder. - Start the game and catch a drip fish.
For the best multiplayer experience, everyone in the lobby should have CODFish Perks installed. This keeps perk behavior and the in-game display consistent for the whole group.
Compatibility
CODFish Perks works with the game's existing drip fish and does not require another mod.
Feedback
If a perk behaves differently after a game update, include the game version and BepInEx log when reporting the issue on the fish-modding channel of Dazed Games official Discord
