Installation (Thunderstore / mod manager)

Recommended: Install from Thunderstore using r2modman, Thunderstore Mod Manager, or the in-game mod manager. Dependencies (BepInEx and LCSoundTool) will be installed automatically.

1. Install this mod from Thunderstore (search for “Angry British Bug” or use the link above).
2. Launch the game — hoarding bugs will use the new audio, and you’ll see the startup message once per session.

Manual install: Place the mod’s plugins folder contents into Lethal Company/BepInEx/plugins/HoffmanTV-angry_british_bug/ (create that folder if needed), so that CustomSounds, Assets, and optionally AngryBritishBug.dll are directly inside it.

How it works: This mod replaces the Hoarder Bug’s vanilla sounds using LCSoundTool. The custom audio files are in CustomSounds/BugSound/ (Chitter1–3, Fly) inside the mod folder. When installed via Thunderstore, the mod manager puts everything in BepInEx/plugins/HoffmanTV-angry_british_bug/.

The Thunderstore package uses a plugins folder so mod managers install correctly. Inside that folder:

Publishing to Thunderstore

To update or publish this mod on Thunderstore, create a ZIP that contains at the root: manifest.json, icon.png, README.md, CHANGELOG.md, and the plugins folder (with CustomSounds, Assets, and optionally AngryBritishBug.dll if you built the plugin). Do not include the Plugin/ source folder in the ZIP. Mod managers will install the plugins contents into BepInEx/plugins/HoffmanTV-angry_british_bug/.
