Ransom
This mod adds Ransom (A.K.A A-90), a virus-monster from Roblox DOORS by LSPLASH, to Lethal Company.

Behavior
Ransom is a virus that hacks into your suit's systems and holds your life for ransom. The moment it appears on screen, you must freeze completely - the slightest movement triggers an attack, leaving you infected. To cure yourself, pay the ransom before time runs out: grab any scrap or equipment and sell it with the C key. Fail to pay in time, and you'll explode.

Configuration
Ransom is highly configurable through LethalConfig.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| SpawnFrequency | How often Ransom appears during the game |
| ReactionSpeed | How hard it is to react to and avoid the jumpscare |
| RansomSum | How much you need to pay as ransom |
| Aggressiveness | How often Ransom attacks, and its cooldown |
| PopupDuration | How long each screen-blocking popup stays visible |
| PopupTiming | How often popups appear during an active ransom |
| InfectionTimer | How much time you get to pay the ransom |
| RansomDamage | Damage from Ransom's first jumpscare |
| ControlHack | Inverts your controls during an active ransom |
| Aftershock | A chance Ransom attacks again shortly after a successful counter, with no time to react |
| LetsGoGambling | Ransom becomes weaker, but you get a small, steadily increasing chance of exploding |
| InfectionMusicVolume | Volume of the infection music |
| SellSoundVolume | Volume of the item-sell sound |
| PopupSoundVolume | Volume of the popup appearance sound |
| CureSoundVolume | Volume of the cure sound |

How it works
Ransom has no physical body or 3D model — the encounter is entirely screen-based.
Spawning: Once your ship lands, each moon is assigned a difficulty tier (Very Easy --> Hardcore). A single roll decides whether Ransom is even active for that round at all. If active, Ransom starts attempting attacks once a certain point in the day is reached, checking every few seconds while you're inside the facility (less often while on the ship). Any attack attempt, successful or not, puts Ransom on a cooldown before it tries again. All of this (activation odds, timing, attempt frequency, cooldown) is adjustable via the config.
Eclipse weather increases the odds Ransom is active that round, and shifts when it starts attacking, since a hidden threat fits the mood.
The ransom amount is calculated once, right when you land, based on the total scrap value on the moon at that moment - so hauling loot to your ship in advance won't shrink the demand later.
