These translations were initially generated by Chat GPT, but are being actively reviewed and replaced by the contributors on our discord.

Install Instructions

Install the thunderstore mod manager:

1. Download Thunderstore Mod Manager Here (Download and follow installer)

Install the version of the latin mod you want below (this should automatically install any mods the latin mod requires):

1. Lethal Company Latin Localization - A more immersive way to play the game.
2. Lethal Company Latin Localization Educational - An educational version with more added notes. These notes can be useful for learning (like mentioning the ordinal number for the weight).

After you have the mod manager downloaded, downloading the mods is as simple as clicking "Install with Mod Manager".

If you see the "Download dependency" button below, click it until all of this mods depenedencies have been downloaded

Once the mods are installed, you can play it in latin by clicking the "Modded play" button at the top

3. LethalCompanyVR (Fully supported) Lethal Company in VR! Here's a lets play I recorded if you'd like to check it out.
4. Subtitles by JustJelly Adds subtitles to most audio (Fully supported). Very accesible. (Mostly supported, though there are likely some sounds I haven't heard yet. Also, the initial audio and subtitles are currently different, though will be re-recorded by a human shortly)
5. NeedyCats Adds cats whose names are beginner latin vocab (Mostly supported)

I enjoy playing with a reserved boombox on me at all times, that plays latin playlists from youtube. It provides so much extra latin content while gaming. 🙂

3.0.0 Translations outside of terminal have vowel accents included

The translations outside of the terminal now have vowel accents.

Accents are currently in the form of an "apex"/"acute accent", if I can get a font that supports macrons (throughout the whole game) I will use it in the future.

The translations in the terminal won't have vowel accents, until they have all been reviewed. (Since they still contain some chat gpt translations and accents)

2.3.8 Finish replacing Chat GPT outside of the terminal

Translations outside of the terminal have been replaced and should have accurate macrons in the source files.

I'll need to fix a font bug, before releasing the macron version. But this is a huge step.
