Description (SPOILERS)

Vecna uses his telekinetic, hallucinatory mind bending powers to torment his victims before ultimately killing them. The mod features a multi-phase behavior pattern that captures the essence of Vecna's curse sequence from the show. If you notice a fellow crew member bleeding with no explanation, then this teammate may be being targeted by Vecna's curse. Precautionary measures should be taken to protect them, such as keeping them close and avoiding isolation. [NEW FOR V2] Hunt vecna down by finding his lair, and put an end to his curse. However, sometimes you may not get what you wished for... Now VR Compatible.

Clock stalking

  • Vecna taunts his victim by manifesting an antique grandfather clock that chimes ominously. The clock serves as a warning sign of impending doom, and its eerie presence adds to the psychological torment.
  • Vecna torments his victims in spaced out episodes, with each becoming increasingly intense signifying their time is running out.

The chase

  • Following the chimes of the third clock (customisable), Vecna will induce the player into a trance appearing AFK to other players.

Vecna chasing

  • While the real world is unaware of the danger their teammate faces, the victim is trapped in a nightmarish chase sequence where they must evade Vecna's pursuit for 50 seconds (customisable).

Door open

Giving each other a chance to survive

  • Not much can stop Vecna, however it appears playing a crew member's favourite song on the boombox provides them with a life saving tool to suppress the affects of the curse.
  • Furthermore, if a victim is caught in a trance, a teammate or a prepared victim can play their favourite song on the boombox in the radius near their body in the real world, providing them with an escape route by a portal out of Vecna's subconciousness like the TV show.

Boombox portal

[NEW WITH UPDATE V2] Vecna's Lair

  • Traverse through a randomly spawned Upside Down portal to enter a new pocket dimension (Vecna's Lair) to confront Vecna outside of his curse
  • Disturbing Vecna in his meditative/trance state transitions Vecna into a new phase Vecna Lair

[NEW WITH UPDATE V2] Vecna's Wrath

  • Vecna enters the facility and hunts down all players inside and outside with NEW telekinetic abilities depending on environment.
  • Vecna can push, throw and blast back players to inflict damage. If a player is 30 HP or below, vecna will play a cutscene animation where he draws the player towards him and executes them. Vecna is also able to break into the ship in this form with his telekinesis. Vecna Emerging

[NEW WITH UPDATE V2] Breaking in

Inside of Vecna's hunt everyone mode, he is able to use his telekinesis to break into the ship! Vecna Peeping

[NEW WITH UPDATE V2] VECNA'S NOW VULNERABLE

  • Inside of his Wrath mode, vecna is able to be stunned and killed Vecna Dead

When time is up

  • If the victim gets too close to Vecna during the chase, they will be executed through the merciless destruction of their limbs, resulting in a gruesome death.

Vecna Execution

  • This is also visible to the real world, where if a teammate is unaware, they can be surprised when their teammate rises into the air and Vecna's iconic kill sequence plays in front of their very eyes.

Vecna Snapping Player

Additional features and tips!

  • Teleporting the player when in a trance only brings their body in the real world, while their conciousness is trapped in Vecna's. However, this gives teammates a chance to open an escape portal by using a boombox from the safety of the ship!
  • Vecna's mechanics are customisable in his config file, allowing you to adjust values to suit your playstyle and preferences!
  • Vecna has the ability to use telekinesis in chase to open doors in front of him. Therefore, closing doors behind you may not delay him the way you would like!
  • Lights flicker in the area of hallucinations and follow the victim during the chase to mimic the effect from the TV show.
  • This mod involves CUSTOM VOICELINES AND VOICE ACTING for Vecna to create an even more cinematic and immersive experience. More may be added in future, suggest lines you would like to see!
