YourFlagYourShip — Custom Flag Texture

Every captain worth their salt needs a flag that actually means something — not some generic faction rag picked for you. YourFlagYourShip lets you nail whatever image you want to the mast: a skull, your crew's emblem, your cat's unimpressed face. Ships by default with a Straw Hat Pirates-style Jolly Roger, because let's be honest — every proper sky pirate secretly wants Grand Line energy. Swap one PNG, press F10, and your ship finally flies a flag worth dying for. Nakama not included.

How it works

• On game start, the mod loads flag_custom.png from the plugin folder and applies it to the flag automatically once a flag mesh is nearby.
• Press F10 while standing near a Saborian flag to force a re-apply (useful if the flag didn't update, or after fast-traveling to a new area with a different flag pole).

Customize your flag

1. Prepare your own image:
   • Square aspect ratio (1:1) — e.g. 256×256, 512×512, or 1024×1024 PNG.
   • Black background recommended (matches the classic Jolly Roger look; transparency is not used for cutout by the shader).
   • Leave a small margin (~5–10%) around the edges — the cloth animates and can slightly distort the border.
2. Replace the file at: BepInEx/plugins/flag_custom.png (same filename, overwrite the existing one)
3. Restart the game (or press F10 near a flag if you swap the file mid-session — note the texture is only loaded once at startup, so a restart is required to pick up a new file).

Default flag

Ships with a Straw Hat Pirates (One Piece) style Jolly Roger as the default flag. Feel free to replace it with anything you like — pirate flags, faction emblems, memes, whatever fits your playthrough.
