Small in-game text-chat overlay for MIMESIS.
Who Needs It
Install this DLL on the host and every joining player who wants to send or read
text chat. It does not require MorePlayers or MimicAPI.
Players without this mod can still join. They simply will not see chat.
Install
- Install
LavaGang-MelonLoaderin the player's Thunderstore profile. - Open the profile folder from Thunderstore settings.
- Create
Mods\Local-MimesisTextChat. - Put
MimesisTextChat.dllin that folder. - Launch through Thunderstore.
Controls
Enter: open chat.Enter: send the current message.Escape: close chat without sending.
Chat uses Steam's existing lobby-message transport and stays available across scene changes while the Steam lobby remains active.
Remove
Delete Mods\Local-MimesisTextChat.
