Pal Breeding Assistant 0.3.2

Stop guessing. Breed exactly what you need.

A complete in-game Palworld breeding assistant created by Da Rudge. Enter a world and press N to open it. The overlay is fully modal: only its visible X closes it and restores normal Palworld controls.

What is included

• A seven-page in-game breeding guide covering farms, cakes, child selection, passives, IVs, eggs, exceptions, mutations and optimizer workflow.
• Live local Palbox scanning with owned counts and exact Palbox page/slot details.
• Non-clickable in-game creator credit for Da Rudge.
• Automatic language detection from Palworld's active Unreal culture setting.
• Localized navigation for all 17 Palworld interface languages, expanded Dutch UI text and a safe English fallback for technical text without a translation.

Search and controls

The search field receives keyboard focus when the overlay opens. Press Ctrl+A, type a Pal name and press Enter or click SEARCH.

Language support

LanguageOverride = "auto" is the default. The mod asks Unreal for Palworld's current IETF language tag, maps it to a bundled language pack and logs the detected language. Supported navigation packs: English, Simplified/Traditional Chinese, Japanese, French, Italian, German, European/Latin-American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Korean, Indonesian, Thai, Turkish, Vietnamese and Polish. Dutch is also included as an additional community language.

Unknown or partially translated cultures safely fall back to English instead of showing missing labels.

N and Esc intentionally do not close an open overlay, so Palworld menus and actions cannot activate behind it.

Palbox connection and privacy

The mod reads only the local player's replicated PalStorage already available inside the running game. No save file, account credential or Palbox content is uploaded. If storage is not synchronized yet, open the normal Palbox once, close it and press F5 in the assistant.

Install

Import PalBreedingAssistant-0.3.2.zip as a local mod in Thunderstore Mod Manager and replace the older version. The package contains a Thunderstore-compliant 256x256 icon, documentation, config and bundled Shimloader runtime.

Verification status

• The 0.3.0 feature runtime was live-tested in Palworld 1.0.3: N opened the overlay without a crash and the local Palbox connected with 30 recognized Pals over 32 pages.
• Live-tested: real target/parent portraits, How To Get, the compact seven-page guide and Still To Discover.
• The tested Palbox produced 111 missing Pals that were directly breedable from owned parents.
• Version 0.3.1 was live-tested in Palworld: Unreal reported en, the mod selected English automatically and N opened the localized overlay without a crash.
• Version 0.3.1 is checked for bundled Lua syntax, manifest, package layout and exact 256x256 icon dimensions.
• Version 0.3.2 removes every social URL, external-link action and website-opening code path from the runtime. The creator credit remains plain non-clickable text.

0.3.2

• Removes all TikTok, YouTube, Twitch and Discord buttons from the overlay.
• Removes all creator/social URLs from the configuration and bundled Lua runtime.
• Removes the external website launcher and every external process-launching call.
• Keeps only a non-clickable CREATED BY DA RUDGE credit in the interface.
• Sets website_url to the required empty string in manifest.json.
• Produces a lean package without unused branding source assets.

• Replaces the old branding image with a new egg-and-DNA breeding emblem.
• Ships a Thunderstore-compliant icon.png with exact 256x256 pixel dimensions.
• Detects Palworld's active Unreal language automatically through the Kismet Internationalization Library.
• Recognizes all 17 interface languages currently listed for Palworld on Steam.
• Provides localized navigation labels for all recognized languages, complete English and Dutch interface text, and safe English fallback for untranslated technical details.
• Adds LanguageOverride = "auto" to the packaged configuration for future/manual language selection.
• Keeps the live Palbox scan, Discover list, acquisition locations, guide, portraits and modal input behavior from 0.3.0.
