Taking inspiration from Made in Abyss, this mod introduces the Strains of Descent — punishing curses that trigger as you climb DOWN the mountain.

• The Shore

  • Strains: ???

• Tropics

  • Strains: Poison, Loss of balance (brief ragdoll)

• Roots

  • Strains: Spores, Numbness (hides stamina bar)

• Alpine

  • Strains: Cold, Drowsy, Blinding Flash

• Mesa

  • Strains: Heat, Thorns, and a lit stick of dynamite dropping right at your feet

• Caldera

  • Strains: Hunger, Heat, and Thermal Shock (Don't let your temperature deviate from normal)

• The Kiln

  • Strains: Injury, Curse, Intense Heat, Webbing, and Petrification

• Gloom

  • Strains: Drowsy, Numbness... and a Big Ghost spawns right behind you

• The Citadel

  • Strains: Injury, Curse, Petrification, Numbness, Loss of balance, ???, and losing grip on your held items

• Nadir

  • Strains: Injury, Curse, Blindness, Ragdoll, losing grip on your held items, and a temporary loss of your humanity
