# Leopard Gecko Mod
This mod adds a fully interactive Leopard Gecko as a companion, along with unique items, taming mechanics, and a secret boss encounter! Note: this is my first mod, so thank you! :)
## Features & Behaviors
- **Taming System:** The reptile can only be tamed using specific bugs added by this mod (Ants and Mites).
- **Movement:** Once tamed, this reptile actively climbs, observes, and follows nearby climbers during their ascent.
- **Shedding Mechanic:** When the reptile changes its skin, you receive "Gecko Skins" which do absolutely nothing.
## Custom Items
- **Ants & Mites:** Used as bait to tame your reptile.
- **Gecko Skins:** A cosmetic leftover from shedding.
- **Hot Potato:** A joke item that can only be obtained via item spawning mods.
## Secret Boss: Hell Gecko
If you throw the **Hot Potato** at Caldera, it will summon a hostile secret boss called **Hell Gecko** with a dedicated health bar!
- **Behavior:** It uses the same model as the leopard gecko, but it features a red and orange texture. It is completely hostile and actively attacks and bites you.
- **Combat Strategy:** The only way to deal damage to the Hell Gecko is by throwing a **Zarabatana**. It takes exactly 10 hits from a Zarabatana to defeat it.
