Simple Teleport
Press T in-game to open a teleport panel. See every teammate with their live distance, then warp to them or pull them to you.
局内按 T 打开传送面板,查看每位队友的实时距离,然后传送到他身边,或者把他拉到你身边。
Features
- Teammate list — every player in the room, sorted alphabetically by name so cards stay put as people move
- Live distance — straight-line distance to each teammate, refreshed a few times a second
- Two directions —
Go Towarps you to them,Bringpulls them to you. No host permission needed - Smooth scrolling — up to 6 cards at once, the list glides by the pixel with the wheel or a draggable handle, and keeps a little momentum when you let go
- Instant first open — the panel is built and rendered once behind a loading screen, so the first
Tdoes not hitch - Readable names — rich-text colour codes and invisible control characters that name mods inject are stripped before display
- Safe landing — probes 8 directions around the target for a spot that is not inside geometry and has ground beneath it
- State aware — dead, downed and mid-warp teammates are labelled, and buttons that cannot work are greyed out
- Bilingual — follows the game's own language setting (English / 简体中文 / 繁體中文)
Installation
Install with r2modman / Thunderstore Mod Manager, or drop the mod into BepInEx/plugins. The BepInEx pack for PEAK is the only dependency.
Usage
| Input | Action |
|---|---|
T |
Open / close the panel |
| Mouse wheel | Scroll the list |
| Drag the scrollbar | Scroll the list. Clicking an empty part of the track jumps there |
Left click Go To |
Teleport yourself next to that teammate |
Left click Bring |
Teleport that teammate next to you |
While the panel is open your character stops receiving movement input, exactly as it does for the game's own menus. Nothing is locked or hidden — closing the panel restores everything. The header hint always shows your configured key, and the panel's animations switch off when the game's photosensitivity option is on.
Configuration
BepInEx/config/khalil.SimpleTeleport.cfg, generated on first launch.
| Key | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|
ToggleKey |
T |
Key that opens and closes the panel |
CooldownSeconds |
1.5 |
Minimum gap between teleports, prevents ragdoll glitches from spamming |
ArrivalOffset |
1.6 |
Horizontal distance from the target you land at, in metres |
CloseAfterTeleport |
true |
Close the panel automatically after a successful teleport |
PanelScale |
1.0 |
Overall panel scale. Automatically clamped so the panel never exceeds the screen |
UseMetricDistance |
true |
Append m to distances |
How it works
This mod does not patch any game method — there are no Harmony hooks at all.
Teleporting reuses the game's own Character.WarpPlayerRPC, the exact same call that the Warp Compass, the thrown warp item, the biome jump and the Scoutmaster all use. That means ragdoll collision, climbing interruption and held-item handling are all done by the game's original code. The RPC has no permission check on the game's side, so Bring works for any player, host or not.
Input blocking borrows the game's own mechanism: a native MenuWindow instance is registered as an open window while the panel is up, so GUIManager unlocks the cursor and Character.CanDoInput() returns false — the same path every vanilla menu takes.
The panel builds its own Canvas with no GraphicRaycaster and every graphic set to raycastTarget = false, so it never intercepts clicks meant for the game's UI. Hit testing is done by the mod itself.
Every shape on screen is generated at runtime — rounded fills, hairlines and the drop shadow are 9-sliced sprites, so the mod ships no textures besides its icon.
Compatibility
- Client-side. Only you need it installed. Other players do not need the mod for
Bringto work on them. - No Harmony patches, so no conflicts with other mods by construction.
- Built against PEAK
2.4.b.
Known limitations
- Dead players cannot be moved. The game drags corpses back to a fixed position every physics step, so a warp would just fight it; the
Bringbutton for a dead teammate is greyed out. You can stillGo Toa teammate while you are downed, and pulling someone to where you died works too. - The panel is mouse-driven, so it is not usable with a controller.
AI disclosure
This mod was developed with AI assistance (Claude). All game API usage was verified against decompiled game source, and the mod has been tested in-game.

CHANGELOG
Changelog
v1.2.1
- New cover art: two cartoon scouts meeting in a teleport spark, with the mod's English and Chinese names on the badge
- Nothing else changed — no gameplay, UI or configuration differences from 1.2.0
v1.2.0
- First open no longer hitches. The panel now builds and renders itself once while a loading screen or the pause menu is up, so fonts, meshes and canvas batches are ready before you press
T - Names that carry rich-text colour codes (
<color=#FF79BC>...) are cleaned before display, so modded names read normally instead of showing the raw tags. Zero-width and bidi control characters are stripped as well - The list scrolls smoothly by the pixel instead of jumping one card at a time. Wheel, draggable handle and release momentum all drive the same eased position
- Visual pass: rounded panel with a soft shadow and hairline border, per-player accent bar in their own outfit colour, hover and pressed states on cards and buttons, open animation, a gently pulsing scroll hint and a fading status line
- Card views are pooled and text writes are throttled, so the open panel does far less work per frame than before
v1.1.1
- Shows 6 cards at a time instead of 8 — a taller list was starting to dominate the screen
- The scrollbar can now be dragged, and its handle length scales with how many players there are. Clicking an empty part of the track jumps there
- Added a clearly visible amber hint at the bottom whenever the list has more players than fit, since the old wording was easy to miss
v1.1.0
- Panel is 20% narrower — buttons and header text scaled down to match, all spacing re-verified
- Teammates are now sorted alphabetically by name instead of by distance, so cards keep a stable position as people move around
v1.0.0
First release.
- Teleport panel bound to
T, listing every teammate in the room sorted by distance Go Towarps you to a teammate,Bringpulls them to you — no host permission required- Live straight-line distance per teammate
- Scrolling list, 8 cards visible at a time, mouse wheel to browse larger rooms
- Safe landing point search: 8 directions around the target, prefers spots with ground beneath
- Dead / downed / mid-warp states labelled, unavailable actions greyed out with a reason
- Configurable hotkey, cooldown, arrival offset, panel scale and distance unit
- English / 简体中文 / 繁體中文, following the game's own language setting
- No Harmony patches — reuses the game's
Character.WarpPlayerRPCandMenuWindowinput handling
