🥚 Getting Yolked - Egg Powers Mod for PEAK

Getting Yolked makes eating eggs give buffs. They do not stack, but you can mix raw-egg buffs with cooked-egg buffs — with the possible repercussion of farts from eating eggs too fast!

Works with Caldera turkey/condor eggs and Gloom raven eggs. Raven eggs are smaller, so their buffs default to half strength.

🔧 Features

⚡ Raw Eggs - Stamina Powers

• Instant stamina boost when you eat a raw egg (default: 20%)
• Reduced sprint stamina usage - Sprint longer with less stamina drain (default: 0.01 vs vanilla 0.025)
• Reduced jump stamina usage - Jump more without draining stamina (default: 0.01 regular, 0.05 sprinting vs vanilla 0.05/0.15)
• All bonuses last 30 seconds by default (configurable)

💪 Cooked Eggs - Strength Powers

• Increased climbing speed - Scale walls 2x faster (default: 2.0x multiplier)
• Massive jump height boost - Leap 5x higher! (default: 5.0x multiplier)
• Weight reduction - All items feel lighter (default: 50% weight reduction)
• All bonuses last 30 seconds by default (configurable)

🐦 Raven / Small Eggs (Gloom)

• Same raw / cooked powers as turkey eggs
• Default half potency (RavenEggEffectMultiplier 0.5)
• Smash the nest egg first; the edible inner egg is what counts

🎭 Special Features

• Egg-based farting - Eat too many eggs and... well, you'll see! (configurable threshold and chance)
• Feeding others works too! Give your squad a boost (if they have the mod)
• Host config sync - Host's config automatically syncs to all clients
• Per-power toggles - Enable/disable each power individually
• Fully configurable - Every value can be customized to your liking

🎮 How It Works

1. Eat a raw egg → Get stamina boost + reduced sprint/jump stamina usage for 30 seconds
2. Eat a cooked egg → Get climbing speed + jump height + weight reduction for 30 seconds
3. Eat a raven egg → Same buffs at half strength by default
4. Eat too many eggs → Trigger the farting system (if enabled)
5. Multiplayer → Host's config syncs to all clients automatically

🔄 Multiplayer

• Host's config is authoritative - Clients receive the host's settings automatically
• Automatic sync on join - Settings sync when you join, when the host migrates, and when the host changes config
• Handshake - If the host does not have Getting Yolked, egg powers stay disabled for clients

🤝 Compatibility

• PEAK Farts — optional. Egg farts use the same call Full Belly does, so PEAK Farts can color them and apply its launch force
• Full Belly — optional. Both mods can fart; they do not override each other

📦 Installation

1. Download via Thunderstore manually
2. Place the .dll in: /PEAK/BepInEx/plugins/
3. Launch the game to generate config
4. Customize your powers in the config file!

Update for current PEAK — raven / small Gloom eggs, a real host handshake, and fart compatibility with PEAK Farts + Full Belly.

Raven / Gloom eggs

• EggRaven (item ID 177) now gets the same raw / cooked powers as Caldera Egg (item ID 26)
• Raven eggs default to half potency (they are smaller)
• Config: EnableRavenEggs, RavenEggEffectMultiplier (default 0.5)

Multiplayer

• Host handshake + config sync via Photon RaiseEvent 158 (no room CustomProperties)
• If the host does not have Getting Yolked, clients keep egg powers disabled
• Host settings still sync on join, late join, host migrate, and live config changes

Compatibility

• Farts use the same mushroom VFX / launch call as Full Belly, so PEAK Farts can color and redirect them
• Soft-compatible with Full Belly (both can fart; they do not fight)
• Feeding teammates still applies buffs to the person who eats the egg

Fixes

• Rebuilt for current PEAK (runtime access checks, direct game fields)
• Egg detection no longer misses raven eggs or requires hunger restore
• Climbing speed bonus no longer got wiped the same frame it was applied
