RobeCalling
The Arctic Phone's ringtone is now "Robe is my wife," the song from Semiwork's YouTube channel. Every time a phone rings in-game, that's what plays, from the top. The phone screen gets a matching Robe makeover while it rings. That's it. That's the mod.
A note from Vippy
After way too long of a break, I'm finally back and working on these again :D Every one of my mods just got a full pass: bugs fixed, reports read, a few things I'd always meant to do. New builds and fixes land in Vippy's Discord before they hit Thunderstore, so come hang out. Thanks for sticking around.
Install it. Find a phone. Wait for it to ring. You'll know.
Client-side. You hear the song if you have the mod, nobody else has to install anything. Works in singleplayer and multiplayer. It never touches when or why a phone rings (the host decides that), so it can't desync a lobby.
Install
Gale, r2modman or the Thunderstore app: install it like any other mod.
By hand: put RobeCalling.dll and RobeCalling.bundle together in BepInEx/plugins/RobeCalling/. The DLL loads the bundle from the folder it sits in, so if the bundle is missing you get the stock ringtone and a warning in the BepInEx log.
Works on R.E.P.O. v0.4. v1.0.2 and earlier won't load on v0.4, so grab the latest.
Come hang out
I'm Vippy. I make R.E.P.O. mods and I read every bug report.

Keep the mods coming
Everything I make is free and stays free. Two ways to help if you feel like it, neither one expected:
- Ko-fi: buy me a coffee and your name goes on the supporters list in my Discord. Every coffee buys another evening on the next update.
- BisectHosting: hosting a server for Minecraft or anything else your crew plays? Code
vippytakes 25% off, and I get a cut at no cost to you. It's where my own servers live.
CHANGELOG
Changelog
1.0.5
- The song starts from the top on every ring instead of somewhere random in the middle. Same trick the boombox uses.
- If
RobeCalling.bundleis missing next to the DLL the log says so now, instead of the mod silently doing nothing. - README says up front that it's client-side (you hear it if you have it, nobody else needs it) and how to install by hand.
- Dropped the leftover prebuild/postbuild PowerShell scripts, the csproj has done all of that since 1.0.4.
- Patch moved out of Plugin.cs into Patches/. No behaviour change.
1.0.4
- README and manifest now say what the ringtone actually is: "Robe is my wife" from Semiwork's YouTube channel, plus the matching phone screen. Docs only, no code change.
1.0.3
- Updated for R.E.P.O. v0.4: Rebuilt against the latest game release. 1.0.2 will not load on v0.4. The patched class (
PhoneValuable) and theSoundAPI used to swap the ringtone are unchanged in v0.4, so a recompile is enough. - Removed: REPOLib dependency. RobeCalling has always loaded its assets from a local AssetBundle and does not call REPOLib at runtime, so dropping the dep means the mod installs cleanly on v0.4 without waiting for REPOLib to catch up.
1.0.2
- Fixed Dependency list
1.0.1
- Actually put the repobundle in this time
- Fixed Build script
1.0.0
- The phone got an upgrade
