CartDump
CartDump is a work-in-progress mod for R.E.P.O that makes the in-game Cart equippable by the player, with rules to prevent misuse.
โ ๏ธ This mod is still in active development. Expect bugs and incomplete features.
๐ฆ What CartDump Does
- Makes the R.E.P.O Cart equippable
- Allows the cart to be placed into the playerโs inventory
- Prevents permanent cart carrying by automatically removing it after a delay
โฑ Current Behavior
- The cart can be equipped
- After 10 seconds, the cart is automatically thrown out of the inventory
- This behavior is temporary and used for testing and balancing
๐ Planned Features
- Cart can only be equipped inside the extraction zone
- Cart is automatically unequipped if the player leaves the extraction zone
- Configurable timers and conditions
- Improved feedback (UI / sound / logs)
- Multiplayer behavior testing
๐ญ Just for Fun Changes
In addition to the main functionality, this mod includes some non-serious changes made purely for fun:
- Some enemy names have been changed
- These are mostly inside jokes and nicknames used by me and my friends
- They do not affect gameplay, stats, or behavior
- These changes may change, expand, or be removed at any time
This section exists purely for amusement and personal flair ๐
๐ง Development Status
- Early development
- Core mechanics still changing
- Not feature-complete
- Not fully balanced
Do not expect final behavior yet.
๐ก Feedback & Contributions
Feedback, bug reports, and suggestions are welcome while this mod is in development.
CHANGELOG
Changelog
CartDump v0.1.7
Changes
- Interact key for Quick Deposit is now configurable via
ConfigManager(ConfigEntry<KeyCode>) instead of a hardcoded constant. - Parked duration (time before the cart respawns) is now configurable via
ConfigManager; default reduced from 5s to 2s. - Cart now respawns directly above the triggering player and falls down naturally via physics, instead of spawning in front of them based on look direction.
CartDump v0.1.5 and v0.1.6
Changes
- Complete Mod Revamp, old system got reworked
- Added a Quick Deposit action for the cart, usable only while the cart is in Strong mode (not while Weak/Dragged).
- Cart briefly disappears when used, letting all items inside fall to the ground, then reappears near the triggering player after a short delay.
- Added an interact prompt above the cart that shows only when Quick Deposit is available, and hides itself automatically a few seconds after appearing.
- Fully multiplayer-synced: the action plays out identically for every player in the lobby.
- Added a debug logging option (toggleable in the BepInEx Config Manager) to help trace what's happening during testing.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a crash when using Quick Deposit caused by a Unity API not available in this game's Unity version (
Rigidbody.linearVelocity). - Fixed the cart respawning on top of / inside the player instead of a short distance in front of them, by using look direction instead of body direction and snapping to the ground.

Bug Fixes
