Mimic

Mimic is a Skinwalker (Lethal Company Mod) inspired mod for R.E.P.O that allows the creatures of the game to sound like you or your friends!

How it works:

This mod will record you and your friend's voices between an interval (30 - 120 seconds by default) and save the audio into a pool of clips. After a clip has been saved, a random clip from the pool will be played by each enemy on the current level.

MICROPHONE SELECTION:

If you use a different microphone other than the default microphone selection in your system or you think the mod isn't picking up your voice: Launch REPO with the Mimic mod installed and check the BepInEx console for a line like this "Device 0: Microphone (HyperX Quadcast)". Find the device number of the microphone you'd like to use and set it in the Mimic configuration file!

Planned Additions:

• Caching audio in memory (no more writing files)
• Better audio detection (less silent clips)
• Configuration file (customize frequency of clips)
• Optimizations!

Known bugs:

• Voices will stop playing when the host of the room has died.
