README

HostOnlyStart

HostOnlyStart is a REPO BepInEx mod that limits truck starting to the room host.

Only the host can press the truck start screen successfully. Non-host players who try to start the truck will be blocked and should see a no-permission prompt.

Installation

Mod Manager

  1. Install the package with Thunderstore Mod Manager or r2modman.
  2. Make sure BepInEx is enabled for the selected REPO profile.
  3. Launch the game from the mod manager.

Manual Installation

  1. Install BepInEx for REPO first.
  2. Copy HostOnlyStart.dll to BepInEx/plugins/.
  3. Start the game normally.

Usage

No configuration is required.

After the mod is installed, enter a multiplayer room as usual:

  1. The host can start the truck normally.
  2. Non-host players cannot start the truck.
  3. If a non-host player attempts to start the truck, the start action will be rejected.
  4. When the host starts the truck, clients should follow the normal level transition.

For the most consistent multiplayer behavior, all players in the room should use the same mod version.

Notes

  • This mod is designed for BepInEx.
  • The mod works automatically after loading; there is no in-game settings menu.
  • If the truck start screen behaves abnormally, keep the latest BepInEx log before restarting the game.
