SDEC: Sofis Deck Effect Core

Shared dependency for effect decks made with ReSkate Deck Tool. Install one current copy alongside your deck content packs.

• Adds multi-picture lenticular support for 2–8 pictures, retaining the original lens-strip transitions.
• Adds native neon emission. Deck creators can select glowing areas with a PNG mask or colour selection and adjust brightness in Deck Tool 1.4.0.
• Supports Animated / GIF, Depth Map, two- and three-image Parallax, Ghost Rare, Metallic Flakes, Ink Flow, Impossible Window and Liquid Bottle decks.
• Includes the compatibility correction for animated and depth-map decks.

Update this existing package rather than installing a second Core. New Deck Tool exports contain deck artwork/settings; SDEC supplies the shared effects. Existing package identity is unchanged.

No custom game DLL or separately equipped donor deck is required. Neon bloom depends on game lighting and exposure; it does not cast dynamic lights onto nearby objects. Liquid thickness controls the visual ripples rather than simulating persistent viscosity.

Compatibility

Older decks that bundle their own shared shaders or compositor scripts can conflict with SDEC. Re-export or convert those packs for SDEC, and disable their older bundled copies. This update does not remove the game's shared-script limitation.

Previous fixes include custom-map artwork compatibility and removal of the unintended tiled rainbow overlay. Gameplay shadow and banding limitations remain.
