CHANGELOG
Changelog
0.1.7
- New Ranged weapon: Chinchompa. It deals 855% damage every 3 ticks, and enemies within 5 m of the target take 50% of the hit, like the Water Surge splash. While Rigour is active, the Adventurer throws Black Chinchompas with the same damage.
- New Melee weapon: Colossal Blade. It deals 2300% damage every 6 ticks. Large enemies such as the Stone Golem take 20% more, and bosses and Gup take 40% more.
- Elder Maul: While jumping, the Adventurer holds the maul with both hands, as in the idle pose. Before, the Adventurer held it like a one-handed sword in the air.
- When a Shrine of Chance fails for your Adventurer, the chat shows "Nothing interesting happens." in place of the game's line.
0.1.6
- A second character model no longer shows next to the Adventurer in character select or in game.
- See-through parts of OSRS items now show with their OSRS opacity. Before, the most see-through parts were hidden and the rest were solid. The Toxic Staff of the Dead now shows its purple shaft and bottom tip.
- Wind Surge: The target and enemies within 5 m of it are stunned for an instant, which interrupts attacks such as the Stone Golem laser. The other enemies in that area are knocked away with half the force.
- Mod page: A second gameplay GIF. Each GIF now links to its .mp4 video file.
- Buff descriptions: Hovering over an Adventurer buff or debuff icon shows its name and effect. With LookingGlass installed, LookingGlass shows the text in its buff tooltip (Buff Descriptions option, on by default).
0.1.5
- OSRS hitsplats replace the damage numbers when an Adventurer deals or takes damage. Hitsplats option, on by default. Toxic Blowpipe venom and Smoke Barrage poison each show their own hitsplat, even on the same enemy. Venom has its own debuff icon.
- OSRS hit sound when your Adventurer takes damage. Damage taken sound option, on by default.
- Death: As the death animation starts, the chat shows "Oh dear, you are dead!" and the OSRS death jingle plays.
- OSRS level-up fireworks and sound on each Risk of Rain 2 level up.
- Headbang emote on Keypad 1, with the weapon, shield and book put away. Change the key in the new "Emotes" config section.
- When leaving a stage, the Adventurer casts the OSRS Ancient Magicks teleport. The blocks fall around them, and the cast ends as they vanish.
- Cape motion: The 1 Defence Ranged capes (Ava's Accumulator and Dizana's Quiver) no longer swing.
0.1.4
- New skin: 1 Defence. God halos, Decorative Armour, Aranea Boots and black hair, with its own gear for each style. The cape changes with the prayer of its style: Infernal Cape, Dizana's Quiver or the Deadman imbued god cape. The Fire Cape and Infernal Cape show their scrolling OSRS lava texture.
- God cape and God cape mode options: Saradomin (default), Zamorak or Ancient for the 1 Defence Magic cape, shown as imbued and Deadman capes (default) or as plain and imbued capes.
- Volatile Nightmare Staff: Always hits the enemy nearest the crosshair, up to 1000 m, like the Dark Bow. It only fires straight when no enemy is in the aim cone.
- Boots no longer sink into the ground (all skins).
- Animation smoothing no longer flips the arm halfway between two frames. Fixes the backwards flip in the Volatile Nightmare Staff spec, just before the slam, and at the end of the Tumeken's Shadow cast. Dragon Claws and the Heavy Ballista cast effect move a little more smoothly.
- Volatile Nightmare Staff: The hit lands when the staff touches the ground (0.04 s later than before).
- Volatile Nightmare Staff: The target locks just before the hit, so turning the crosshair during the cast switches targets. The fire of the hit effect rises with the damage.
- Heavy Ballista: The spec sound is split in two. The crank plays when the spec starts and the shot plays with the bolt, as the recoil starts.
- Heavy Ballista: The bolt leaves from the middle of the ballista and flies to the crosshair. Before, it left from the middle of the body, left of the ballista.
- Armadyl Crossbow: The bolt leaves from the crossbow and flies to the crosshair. Before, it left from the middle of the body, above the crossbow.
- When attacking in the air, the back leg and boot no longer poke through the cape. In the air the cape can now tilt farther back.
- Prayer glow and light show again. After a recent Risk of Rain 2 update, the mod treated every visible Adventurer as hidden and never turned them on.
- Prayer glow now goes up to 7 and Prayer light up to 250 (both were 0 to 3). In Risk of Options the sliders move in steps of 1, and you can also type a value.
- Cape motion option.
SimpleSwing(default): The cape swings with your movement (running, stopping, strafing, turning, falling).Vanilla: The OSRS animation only.
0.1.3
- Tumeken's Shadow: Critical hits deal up to +50% more damage, scaling with critical chance (like the Armadyl Godsword).
- Optional support for Standalone Ancient Scepter. With the item, Prayer becomes Quick-prayers (prayer, protection prayer and Redemption for 10 s) and the Barrages have double effect.
- Prayer glow and Prayer light options: Above 1, the outline gets wider and the light reaches farther. 1 looks the same as before.
- Death: On the killing blow the Adventurer switches to the idle pose, cancelling any attack or jump. The death animation starts one tick (0.6 s) later instead of two.
- Mod page: The Volatile Nightmare Staff entry mentions its bonus damage on crits.
- Volatile Nightmare Staff: Damage 1000% -> 1250% (2500% at level 30).
0.1.2
- Mod page: New loadout selection GIF that shows the weapon and spec rows of all three styles.
- Shorter mod description. The credit to rob stays in the Credits section.
0.1.1
- Mod page: Loadout selection and gameplay videos (click a GIF to open the full video with sound).
- Updated credits and description.
0.1.0
- First release: The Adventurer, with 3 combat styles, 12 weapons and 12 special attacks to choose in the lobby, prayers, OSRS model, animations, effects and sounds.
