- Broly, the Legendary Super Saiyan, as a new survivor: skills cost Ki instead of cooldowns, and holding Jump flies.
- Skills: Savage Combo; Eraser Cannon, Gigantic Throw, Gigantic Rage, Gigantic Slam and Lariat Rush; Blaster Meteor and Ki Charge; Omega Blaster, Gigantic Explosion and Gigantic Nova.
- Seven forms, each with its own ultimate: Suppressed Super Saiyan (Gigantic Charge), Super Saiyan (Gigantic Roar), Legendary Super Saiyan (Gigantic Meteor), LSSJ 3 (Gigantic Stomp), LSSJ 4 (Gigantic Destruction), Limit Breaker LSSJ 4 and LSSJ 5 (Gigantic Cataclysm). Each form earns mastery as it's used; total mastery unlocks the next one.
- Full Xenoverse 2 transformation cutscenes with their camera angles after standing still for 2 seconds.
- Rage: a meter that fills as he fights; hold F to unleash super armor, extra damage and bigger explosions on top of any form.
- Two skins: Broly Z and DB Super Broly (base, Wrath, Super Saiyan, Full Power, and DB Super versions of the LSSJ 3, LSSJ 4, Limit Breaker and LSSJ 5 forms).
- Multiplayer: cutscene cameras and the transformation and Rage screen shakes only affect the player controlling Broly; the Ki, Rage and mastery display only shows for that player. Not yet tested online.
