Broly
The Legendary Super Saiyan joins the fight.
| Slot | Skills |
|---|---|
| Primary | Savage Combo: heavy 5-hit combo that lunges at your target and refills Ki |
| Secondary | Eraser Cannon: big exploding Ki sphere · Gigantic Throw: grab an enemy in one hand and carry them as long as you hold the button (walk, jump or fly with them), ramming and stunning anything in your way (harder the faster you go), then let go to swing them up behind you and hurl them where you aim so they explode on whatever they hit · Gigantic Rage: Xenoverse 2's grab: leap up, drive them into the ground and slam them again and again (hold to keep slamming), last slam stuns · Gigantic Slam: grab, leap high and drive them into the ground for a big explosion · Lariat Rush: Xenoverse 2's Meteor Crash, a rush of blows that keeps going while you hold the button |
| Utility | Blaster Meteor: protective energy sphere (barrier that grows with mastery) that sprays Ki blasts in every direction; hold to keep firing · Ki Charge |
| Special | Omega Blaster: massive charged beam that stuns what it hits · Gigantic Explosion: giant Ki dome, hold to keep it going · Gigantic Nova: charged giant Ki ball that drifts through enemies and erupts into a green pillar |
| Form | Ultimate (V) |
|---|---|
| Suppressed SSJ | Gigantic Charge: crouch, then launch forward plowing through enemies |
| SSJ | Gigantic Roar: keep blasting and stunning everything nearby for as long as the roar lasts |
| LSSJ | Gigantic Meteor: push out a small Ki blast, then leap and hurl a ball of Ki into it for an enormous explosion |
| LSSJ 3 | Gigantic Stomp: march forward stomping the ground with all his weight while you hold the button, every stomp cratering it and blasting everything around (in the air, slam down first) |
| LSSJ 4 | Gigantic Destruction: huge chargeable red beam that explodes where it hits; the beam and its explosions stun |
| Limit Breaker LSSJ 4 | Gigantic Cataclysm: roar as an explosive sphere erupts and Ki blasts fly everywhere, then fire the beam (hold to keep charging) |
| LSSJ 5 | Gigantic Cataclysm |
Forms: tap F to climb: Suppressed Super Saiyan → Super Saiyan → Legendary Super Saiyan → LSSJ 3 → LSSJ 4 →
Limit Breaker LSSJ 4 → LSSJ 5. His Ki is green, and turns red in LSSJ 4, Limit Breaker LSSJ 4 and LSSJ 5. Each form earns mastery as you use it, getting stronger and cheaper to hold. Total mastery unlocks the next form, like King's Goku and Vegeta (set Forms Need Mastery = false under [Balance] in the FaintAnimeUtilities config to have every form from the start). Use the Transformations page in character select to remove forms you don't want or add them back.
Transform after standing still on the ground for 2 seconds and Broly plays his full Xenoverse 2 awoken transformation with its original camera angles (Restrained Broly's for the Super Saiyan forms, DBS Broly's for the Legendary forms). Otherwise he powers up in under a second.
Rage: a meter that fills over time and as you fight. Hold F to unleash it on top of any form for super armor (no stuns or knockback), extra armor, damage, attack speed and regen, and 50% bigger explosions on every skill and ultimate, and his eyes burn red. It drains while active, so keep hitting things to stay enraged. In the Legendary forms it builds faster and lasts 50% longer, and the more max Ki he has, the longer it lasts (it never costs Ki). The first Rage of a run plays DBS Broly's awoken roar, and raging after standing still for 2 seconds plays the Gigantic Roar wind-up, both with their Xenoverse 2 cameras.
Skins: Broly Z, and DB Super Broly (his DB Super base, Wrath and Super Saiyan looks, Full Power as the Legendary Super Saiyan, and DB Super versions of LSSJ 3, LSSJ 4, Limit Breaker and LSSJ 5).
Requires FaintAnimeUtilities.

CHANGELOG
Changelog
0.2.3 (2026-10-24)
- Fixed the game getting stuck loading at 99%, and attacks and skills not working, when installed with another mod that used the same internal character names. Broly's internal names are now unique to this mod, so your saved Broly loadout (skin and skill picks) and his stats start fresh.
- Z Broly has his gold necklace and jewellery back in every form (only DB Super Broly goes without), which also fixes the gap at the skinny form's neck when he turned or tilted his head.
- Gigantic Explosion pulls the camera back as the dome grows, like Gigantic Nova's charge, so Broly and the explosion stay in view.
0.2.2 (2026-10-24)
- The Rage meter now sits left of the health bar, so it no longer covers the chat.
- Rage meter: Broly's face now fills the frame, and the edges of his eyes are white like the rest of his outline.
- Broly's M1 combo voice lines play half as often, and at most once every 4 seconds.
- Beams no longer make a constant looping thud when aimed at the ground: the hit and impact sounds of Omega Blaster, Gigantic Destruction and Gigantic Cataclysm play at most once every 3 seconds. The beams also hit 5 times a second instead of 7 (each hit as strong as before), so they deal about 30% less damage per second.
- Damage balances: Eraser Cannon 450% to 400%, Gigantic Rage's last slam 900% to 700%, Blaster Meteor 250% to 200% per blast, Omega Blaster about 2000% a second, Gigantic Throw 1200% to 1000%, and Gigantic Nova 2000% + 1000% per charge to 1000% + 1500% per charge. Broly's damage per level is now 2.2 (was 2.6).
- Lariat Rush hits much harder (about 1800% a second, was 750%) but swings 20% slower, and its barrage sound is quieter.
- Ki Charge is now the default utility skill, with Blaster Meteor as the alternative.
- Cooldowns: Lariat Rush 1s, Eraser Cannon 2s, Gigantic Throw 3s, Gigantic Slam 3s, Gigantic Nova 5s, Gigantic Rage 6s, Omega Blaster 6s, Gigantic Explosion 8s, Blaster Meteor 12s. They can all be turned off with the new Skill Cooldowns setting.
- Blaster Meteor (and the spheres of Gigantic Explosion and Gigantic Cataclysm) now give normal barrier that decays like any other, instead of a shield held up for as long as the move lasts. Blaster Meteor no longer costs Ki and fills Broly's Ki bar instead.
- Legendary Super Saiyan 4 (Limit Breaker) now starts under Extra Forms; add it to the lineup on the Transformations page.
- Hover over the ultimate slot in the HUD (hold Tab to show the cursor) to see what the current form's ultimate does, like the game's own skill tooltips.
0.2.1 (never uploaded; included in 0.2.2)
- Adjusted transformations screen with my own design to be more unique, I hope you all like it! Should feel a lil like old school dragon ball games.
- Limit Breaker is now called "Legendary Super Saiyan 4 (Limit Breaker)", so it reads better in the form list.
- Removed the gold necklace from every form on both skins.
- Grabs: holding big enemies (like Stone Golems in Gigantic Throw or Gups in Gigantic Rage) no longer stops Broly from moving or drags him under the map.
- Gigantic Throw: the camera doesn't sink into the ground while carrying an enemy. Or at least shouldn't, but let me know if you see something.
- No fall damage during grabs. Toying with the idea of making Broly take damage during certain moves to create a berserker playstyle, but nothing solid yet.
- Gigantic Charge now leans forward like flying.
- Omega Blaster and Gigantic Destruction now work like the Engineer's Laser Cutter: press once and Broly winds up and fires, keep holding to keep the beam going for Ki, and the beam follows where you aim. He can walk, jump and hover while firing, slowed a little at first and more the longer the beam goes.
- New Rage meter: Hand made art, made by myself. Still subject to change tho, definitely not set in stone; His eyes stay black on the meter until Rage is unleashed, then burn red. His face fill's with rage as you take and deal damage still.
- Voices: the Broly Z skin uses Z Broly's voice in every form, and the DB Super skin uses DB Super Broly's voice, including two of his own lines on the character select screen.
- Broly is in the mod settings menu (with Risk Of Options installed): cutscenes, voices, HUD, Ki drain, form mastery requirements, mastery rates and the other settings can be changed in game.
- New setting to turn off every transformation and Rage cutscene (Transformation Cutscenes).
- Legendary Super Saiyan only becomes his new floor once it has 20 mastery levels (changeable in the settings). Before that, running out of Ki in LSSJ or higher takes him all the way back to base.
- Game cutscenes (like Mithrix's entrance) are no longer interrupted: powering up, down or into Rage while one plays switches instantly, with no cutscene and no voice line.
- Gigantic Throw, Gigantic Rage and Gigantic Slam now carry bosses too, like any other enemy.
- Fixed enemies and bosses (like Aurelionite) standing still after being thrown or slammed.
- Lariat Rush: the barrage now has Xenoverse 2's Meteor Crash hit sounds, and the voice line only plays at the end.
- Fixed Broly's melee hits making no sound (Lariat Rush, rams, throws, stomps).
0.1.0 (2026-10-22)
First playable build.
- Broly, the Legendary Super Saiyan, as a new survivor: skills cost Ki instead of cooldowns, and holding Jump flies.
- Skills: Savage Combo; Eraser Cannon, Gigantic Throw, Gigantic Rage, Gigantic Slam and Lariat Rush; Blaster Meteor and Ki Charge; Omega Blaster, Gigantic Explosion and Gigantic Nova.
- Seven forms, each with its own ultimate: Suppressed Super Saiyan (Gigantic Charge), Super Saiyan (Gigantic Roar), Legendary Super Saiyan (Gigantic Meteor), LSSJ 3 (Gigantic Stomp), LSSJ 4 (Gigantic Destruction), Limit Breaker LSSJ 4 and LSSJ 5 (Gigantic Cataclysm). Each form earns mastery as it's used; total mastery unlocks the next one.
- Full Xenoverse 2 transformation cutscenes with their camera angles after standing still for 2 seconds.
- Rage: a meter that fills as he fights; hold F to unleash super armor, extra damage and bigger explosions on top of any form.
- Two skins: Broly Z and DB Super Broly (base, Wrath, Super Saiyan, Full Power, and DB Super versions of the LSSJ 3, LSSJ 4, Limit Breaker and LSSJ 5 forms).
- Multiplayer: cutscene cameras and the transformation and Rage screen shakes only affect the player controlling Broly; the Ki, Rage and mastery display only shows for that player. Not yet tested online.
