The vanilla-adjacent DPS meters lump everyone else together into a single "other players" number. MultiDPS breaks it down per player, so you can actually see who is doing what.
Only you need it
Damage events are broadcast to every client by the game itself, so a single install sees everyone's damage. Your friends do not need this mod, and neither does the host. It works whether you are hosting or joining, and it sends nothing over the network — it is purely a client-side display.
How the number is calculated
Per stage, not a rolling window:
DPS = total damage you dealt on this floor / time since you entered it
Everything resets when you enter a new floor, hidden realms included. Standing around doing nothing makes your number drop, because the clock keeps running.
(+N) is the part contributed by your turrets, drones and summons. It is
included in the main number; the parenthesised value is just the breakdown.
Ownership is traced back through the minion chain, so a Beetle Guard summoned by
your Queen's Gland counts as yours.
Damage is measured as damage actually dealt, so overkill is not counted. It reflects effective DPS rather than theoretical numbers.

Configuration
Everything is adjustable through Risk of Options (in-game, applies
immediately) or BepInEx/config/main3.multidps.cfg.
- Placement — follows the top of your health bar and buff row by default, so it never collides with them no matter how many buffs you stack. Fixed screen corners are also available.
- Chat log — choose whether the pickup/chat log gets pushed up out of the way, moves to the centre of the screen, or is left alone.
- Appearance — matches the game's HUD skew by default. Font size, colours, panel background, self-row highlight, column visibility and name width are all configurable.
- Columns — character name, minion breakdown, damage share and the team total row can each be turned off.
Compatibility
Works alongside other DPS meters. Requires nothing beyond BepInEx; Risk of Options is optional and only adds the in-game settings menu.
