MICRO
A MUL-T-based survivor requiring Ethranet Explorer 0.4.1. Install both mods and remove the former MICRO-GAMER mod.
- AUTO-CLICKGUN: Rapidly fire your selected cursor for 35% damage per shot. Native firing behavior is retained, with half the Auto-Nailgun's damage and no release burst.
- TOOLBAR PUNCHER: Fire your selected toolbar as a piercing shot for 600% damage.
- Either weapon can be selected in Primary and Secondary, including duplicate choices.
- BUILT-IN DESKTOP: Start with a permanent, pink-framed Desktop Coupler. It grants an additional equipment set containing a locked Portable Computer. Hold interact and press equipment (default E+Q) to switch sets. Ordinary equipment pickups use an unlocked set; real Functional Couplers remain additive. The computer stays accessible when item effects are disabled.
- SCROLL: Rapidly scroll forward, leaving cursors that deal 35% damage and apply your cursor effect. Passing through enemies extends the duration by 0.5s, once per enemy.
- MICRO-GAME (default Special): One successful microgame deals 101% of a normal enemy's maximum combined health with armor/one-shot protection bypass, or 20% of a boss's maximum combined health before armor. Failure deals no damage. Thirty-second base cooldown, with normal cooldown modifiers. This attack cannot critically strike or trigger item attacks.
- BROWSE (alternate Special): Open the stage interactable list directly. Hover options for camera previews; confirm to teleport nearby and begin a 15-second cooldown. Cancel to restore your position and view. Item effects and movement are disabled during BROWSE; damage, targeting and healing protection apply. Use the built-in Portable Computer to visit Ethranet.
The computer replaces MUL-T's torso/head. Remaining limbs use a green translucent ghost material. The secondary weapon arm has an independent native animation rig, reflected onto the right side. Primary and Secondary firing animate separately while locomotion and torso turning remain shared. Native locomotion, health and ordinary damage/healing are active outside protected menus.
Cursor/toolbar selection supports native tracers and projectile prefabs. SCROLL reuses the selected cursor profile and its contact effect hook. Desktop Depot purchases remain pending.
The original Microsoft game artwork is reused for the fourteen microgames. Controls appear before each game. Completed boards remain visible for 0.5 seconds before the success/failure screen. X/Escape cancels a menu; Escape during a microgame ends it as a failed attack. Normal world damage can still kill MICRO during its microgame attack. BROWSE and Ethranet browsing provide protection until closed.
All multiplayer participants need both mods at the same versions. The computer model and MS Sans Serif font are supplied by Ethranet; see the included notices. Native MUL-T assets are loaded from the installed game.
The Thunderstore package requires SMouth-Ethranet_Explorer-0.4.1. BROWSE landing points are chosen by the server and applied by the owning client as well as other players' views. Cancel restores the saved position and facing through the same synchronized path.
CHANGELOG
0.3.3
- Send server-approved BROWSE teleports directly to the owning client as well as normal observers. Prevent client movement authority from undoing the relocation.
- Use the same synchronized relocation for cancellation, preserving the saved position and facing.
- Reject duplicate, stale, invalid and other-run relocation messages; retain server ownership of safe landing choices and cooldowns.
- Link the package dependency to SMouth-Ethranet_Explorer-0.4.1.
0.3.2
- Simplify SCROLL's description to match the weapon descriptions and remove references to Transport Mode. Gameplay is unchanged.
0.3.1
Requires Ethranet Explorer 0.4.1.
- Correct SCROLL to twice native Transport Mode speed, including its configured multiplier and sprint behavior.
- Award at most one half-second extension per enemy per SCROLL use.
- Share item-effect suppression with Desktop and Portable Computer browsing, with health/shield restored to their pre-menu values when item maxima return.
0.3.0
- Rebuild SCROLL on native Transport Mode, retaining its animation, sounds and steering. Move at twice ordinary movement speed, with no added armor, ram damage or carried momentum.
- Pass through enemies and gain 0.5 seconds per new enemy entry. Continuous overlap and multiple hurtboxes grant only one extension. Keep leaving cursor trails throughout extended uses.
- Start with a permanent Desktop Coupler, using the actual Portable Computer icon with a pink border. Its extra equipment set contains the locked Portable Computer; real Functional Couplers still add their normal sets.
- Patch native equipment-set allocation directly, fixing the unallocated-set errors that prevented the computer from being installed and E+Q switching from working.
- Animate both arms during Transport Mode while retaining independent firing animations.
0.2.1
- Give the mirrored secondary arm its own native animation rig. Secondary fire, reload and nailgun firing flags no longer animate the visible primary arm or inherit its firing state.
- Keep locomotion and torso aiming shared while using the secondary weapon's stance and articulated tool bones. Both weapons can animate simultaneously, including duplicate loadouts.
0.2.0
Requires Ethranet Explorer 0.4.0.
- Add a permanent innate equipment set with a locked Portable Computer; no Functional Coupler item is granted. Real Couplers remain additive.
- Replace utility with SCROLL: an accelerating dash with damaging cursor hazards and no retained momentum. Trail hits use one halved Auto-Clickgun shot and the selected cursor profile.
- Keep MICRO-GAME as the default Special and add BROWSE as its alternate. BROWSE opens the stage list directly and suppresses movement/item effects until closed.
- Halve Auto-Clickgun damage, use concise native-style weapon descriptions, and preserve torso turning while mirroring right-arm motion.
0.1.5
Requires Ethranet Explorer 0.3.1.
- Protect MICRO from damage, targeting and healing throughout the utility menu, stage browser and handoff to Ethranet.
- Show four stage options per page in two rows at the bottom of the screen.
- Hover stage options to preview their objects with the local camera. Cancelling restores the saved position and view; confirming teleports to the selected object and starts the usual cooldown.
0.1.4
- Mirror the animated left arm onto the secondary weapon arm instead of using the native right fist's static pose. Preserve both secondary weapon variants and their socket alignment.
- Tint MICRO's ghost limbs green while retaining the native Happiest Mask material's transparency. The computer torso and ordinary MUL-T keep their existing materials.
0.1.3
Requires Ethranet Explorer 0.3.0 for the full Pink effect library and updated multiplayer snapshots. Survivor abilities are unchanged.
0.1.2
Requires Ethranet Explorer 0.2.0 for the new Pink recipe snapshots. Auto-Clickgun retains the release-burst removal.
0.1.1
Removed Auto-Clickgun's release burst in both weapon slots. Normal firing and spin-down remain unchanged. Ordinary MUL-T retains its burst.
0.1.0
Initial independent native MUL-T survivor release split from MICRO-GAMER.
