README

Computational Facility

Operator's domain expansion transforms the battlefield into a cyan machine hall filled with temporary allied drones, server racks, and flowing data.

Deal damage to fill the meter, then press T to deploy Computational Facility. Operator keeps normal movement and all native skills.

The facility

  • 62.5 m stationary sphere centered where you cast.
  • 4-second opening, 30 active seconds, and 2-second visual collapse.
  • Native allied drones reconstruct every 1.33 seconds during the active phase, with a 30-drone living cap. The default duration allows about 23 summons when placement succeeds.
  • A shuffled roster cycles through available native drone varieties before repeating. TC-280 is excluded; disabled expansions are respected.
  • Drones use native AI, attacks, networking, and Operator commands. Temporary drones contribute no extra secondary capacity or free charges.
  • Operator gains gentle low gravity and responsive air steering inside their own active facility. Normal jumping, sprinting, collisions, and skills remain available.
  • Eligible grounded enemies rise toward 5 m above terrain. Movable bosses receive half the lift; flying, immovable, and knockup-immune enemies retain native movement.
  • A dark machine hall, cyan circuits, terrain-grounded server racks, overhead gantry, reconstruction brackets, and positional native sound effects accompany the cast.

Charge and cleanup

Damage from Operator and owned drones charges the meter while the domain is inactive. The default requirement is 100 times level-scaled base damage. Casting consumes the full meter; charge persists between stages.

Only drones created by this cast are removed on expiry, owner death, stage change, or teardown. Temporary drones cannot leave repairable wrecks. Normal permanent drones remain under native control.

Installation

Install using r2modman or Thunderstore Mod Manager, then launch modded. Required BepInEx packages install automatically.

For manual installation, install the listed dependencies, then copy plugins/ComputationalFacility into BepInEx/plugins. Restart the game after installation.

Requires the native Operator survivor and the game content needed to play Operator. This package does not unlock paid game content.

Configuration

After the first launch, close the game and edit BepInEx/config/wreckzog.computationalfacility.cfg.

Activation key, charge requirement, radius, active duration, drone interval/cap, enemy lift height/speed, opening/collapse, visual intensity, camera shake, and sound volume are configurable. Gameplay settings are host-authoritative. This public release uses charged activation; development free-cast controls are omitted.

Compatibility

  • Every co-op participant needs the same version because the facility adds a hidden item to identify temporary drones.
  • Standalone Operator release. Remove the development Survivor Domains plugin before using it; both implement the same ability.
  • The projected machine hall requires Direct3D 11. Other rendering APIs retain the geometric chamber and machinery fallback.
  • Built against the locally installed Windows game assemblies. Build and automated contract checks cover scheduling, secondary filtering, native hooks, network message layouts, rendering integration, and cleanup calls. Fresh standalone in-game and multiplayer playtesting remains pending; drone AI/network cost depends on settings and party size.

Made with Codex / ChatGPT.

CHANGELOG

1.0.1

  • Removed secondary-stock wording from the package description.
  • Verified that the compiled release contains no test-key configuration, free-cast button, or test network flag. Charged activation remains on T by default.

1.0.0

  • Initial standalone Operator release, extracted from the latest Survivor Domains implementation.
  • Includes Computational Facility's native drone roster, secondary-stock filtering, enemy suspension, gentle low gravity, machine-hall projection, and terrain-grounded machinery.
  • Adds independent plugin/configuration identity and charged activation.
