URL Face Items Plus

Put any picture or GIF on your ROUNDS character — from a link or straight from your PC.

A cleaned-up, faster remake of Pykess' URL Face Items.

How to use

1. Main menu → Mods → URL Face Items Plus → Eyes, Mouths or Details.
2. Pick a slot (12 per category).
3. Either:
   • Paste link — copies whatever link is on your clipboard into the slot, or
   • Upload from PC — choose a PNG, JPG or GIF (max 3 MB).
4. The line under the link box tells you if it loaded, or exactly why not.
5. Adjust the look with the sliders — the preview updates live:
   • Size
   • Brightness
   • Opacity (see-through to solid)
   • Rotation (-180° to 180°)
   • GIF speed (0.25× to 30×)
   • Raise health bar (Details only)
6. Go to the character customizer and add the slot like any other face item.

More character slots

ROUNDS only lets you save 8 characters. This mod raises it to 16:

• On the character customize screen, use the < and > arrows beside the row of faces to switch between page 1 and page 2.
• In the Rounds With Friends lobby, Q/E (or the bumpers on a controller) cycle through all 16 faces as normal.
• Your extra characters are saved like the normal ones and stay put between launches.
• Your character shows up for other players in matches just like the original 8.
• Safe to uninstall: if your chosen character is on page 2, the game falls back to one of the original 8 instead of breaking.

What's new vs. the original

• 12 slots per category (was 6).
• 16 character slots instead of 8, with page arrows.
• Upload from your PC — other players download it from you automatically (once, then it's cached).
• Many more links work:
  • links no longer need to end in .png/.jpg/.gif (Google thumbnails, Discord, Reddit, CDN links with ?size= etc.)
  • Google/Bing image-result links, Imgur and Giphy page links are converted to the real image
  • Google's data:image links work
  • sites that would send WebP are asked for PNG/JPG/GIF instead
  • a proper browser User-Agent is sent (some sites, including Wikimedia, block requests without one)
• Clear error messages instead of silently doing nothing.
• Faster: each image downloads and decodes once and is shared by every copy, and downloads are cached on disk between launches.
• Smoother GIFs and no faint lines on the edges of transparent images.
• New Opacity, Rotation and GIF speed sliders, synced to other players.
• Redesigned, compact settings page with Paste / Upload / Reload / Reset buttons and a live preview.

Your existing URL Face Items links and settings carry over automatically. Uninstall the original mod; the two can't run together.

Tips

• If a link won't load, open the image on its own, right-click it → Copy image address.
• WebP and AVIF images can't be shown by ROUNDS. Save the image, convert it to PNG, and use Upload from PC.
• If the game is in exclusive fullscreen, the file picker may appear behind it — Alt+Tab, or use borderless/windowed.
• Everyone in the lobby needs this mod to see each other's items.
• Changes show up for other players the next time your character loads in (next round or lobby).
• Uploaded images transfer to other players automatically the first time they see them, then load instantly after that.
