Computer Music

YouTube music for Shift At Midnight. Press M anywhere in-game to open the music panel.

Requirements

BepInExPack IL2CPP (installed automatically as dependency)
All players need this mod for synced playback

Install

Install via Thunderstore Mod Manager
Enable Computer Music and BepInExPack IL2CPP
Launch the game through the mod manager

Usage

Key / Control	Action
M	Open / close music panel
Esc	Close panel
Add	Add YouTube URL to queue (host only)
Play	Start current track (host only)
Skip	Next track (host only)
Stop	Stop playback (host only)
Clear	Clear queue (host only)
Volume slider	Personal volume — only affects your game

Multiplayer

Host manages the queue and playback
Before play, every player downloads/caches the track locally
Playback starts once everyone is ready (no timeout)
Volume is local only — other players are not affected

Cache

Downloaded tracks are stored in:

BepInEx/plugins/Safron-ComputerMusic/cache/

yt-dlp

This package includes yt-dlp.exe. You can override the path with the SAMMOD_YTDLP environment variable.

Troubleshooting

Check BepInEx/LogOutput.log for [Computer Music] lines
First launch after BepInEx install: run once to generate interop assemblies
