ModMenu
AI disclosure: this entire thing is AI slop, even this readme
In-game mod settings for Super Fantasy Kingdom. A new Mods button on the main menu, under the Discord button, opens a settings window for every BepInEx mod you have installed. You can change settings without leaving the game, and most changes apply right away with no restart.
Features
- âī¸ Main menu button: a new button under the Discord link, in the same style as the other link buttons
- đ Every mod's config: lists every
.cfgfile inBepInEx/config, including BepInEx's own - ⥠Live changes: settings for loaded mods change in the running game, so mods that read their settings as they go pick up the new value immediately
- đī¸ Proper controls: on/off switches, sliders for ranges, buttons for choices and text boxes for everything else, with the mod's own descriptions and defaults
- âŠī¸ Reset: put one setting, or a whole mod, back to its defaults
- đ Search: filter a mod's settings by name or description
- đž Auto-save: changes are written to the cfg file as you make them, in the normal BepInEx format
- đ Reload file: pick up changes made in r2modman's config editor while the game is running
Installation
- Install with r2modman (or another Thunderstore mod manager). BepInExPack is installed automatically as a dependency.
- Launch the game with Start modded.
- On the main menu, click the gear button on the left, under the Discord button.
Using the menu
Pick a mod on the left to see its settings on the right. Each mod shows one of these status lines:
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Loaded | The mod is running. Changes go straight to the mod and are saved to its cfg file. |
| BepInEx | BepInEx's own settings. Most of these are only read at startup, so restart the game after changing them. |
| Not loaded | A cfg file whose mod isn't running (e.g. it's disabled in r2modman). Changes are saved to the file and used the next time the mod loads. |
- Text and number boxes apply when you press Enter or click somewhere else. If a value isn't valid, the box turns red, the error is shown and the old value is kept.
- Escape (or the gamepad back button) closes the window. The menu works with mouse and keyboard only.
Configuration
Settings live in BepInEx/config/ilm.modmenu.cfg. You can also change them in the menu itself, under ModMenu.
| Section | Setting | Range | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
Menu |
Scale |
0.5 â 2 | Size of the settings window and its text. 1 fits a 1080p screen. Applies straight away. |
Example

Scale = 1.5
Notes
- Does a change take effect without a restart? It depends on the mod. ModMenu changes the value in the running mod and raises BepInEx's
SettingChangedevent. Mods that read their settings each time they use them (most simple ones) or listen for that event update right away. Mods that only read a setting once at startup still need a game restart. CheatMenu and RunLength both read their settings live, so changes to them apply to the next run you start or continue without restarting. - Hidden and read-only settings: settings that a mod marks as hidden or read-only for BepInEx.ConfigurationManager are hidden or shown greyed out here too.
- Not loaded mods: ModMenu only knows what the cfg file's comments say about these settings (type, default, allowed values), so it uses those to choose the controls.
- Saving: ModMenu waits until you stop changing a value (e.g. let go of a slider) before writing the file. Everything is saved when you close the window.
- Gameplay: ModMenu doesn't change the game itself, so it doesn't affect leaderboards.
