Easy Campaign Tweaks

Some old ULTRAKILL Mutator mods no longer work, so I've brought a few favourites back with some new ideas. Thanks to Waff1e, creator of UltraTweaker, for the original inspiration.

Features:

Health Bars

Adds groovy enemy health bars. Thanks to EladNLG for the original (and best) take on this.

  • Off by default, so keep that in mind.

Mutations:

Mitosis

Duplicates eligible enemy spawns.

  • Default multiplier: 2.0x
  • Higher values create more copies, so go crazy.

Enraged

Gives enemies a chance to spawn enraged.

  • Default chance: 100%
  • Only some enemies can be enraged. But I thiiiink this might change with the up-and-coming enemy AI overhauls

Radiant

Gives enemies a chance to spawn radiant.

  • Default chance: 100%
  • *The HP, Speed and Damage Multipliers can all be controlled.
  • Also, the damage buff can be toggled separately

Stronger Enemies

Replaces enemies with stronger enemies.

  • Minimum tier increase and maximum tier increase are configurable.
  • +1 Tier turns all Filth into Strays, all Strays into Schisms. (It's a bit more complicated than that, since enemies have their own categories. e.g. Drones can turn into Flesh Prison Eyes and even 'Maurice Drones')
  • Includes anti-softlock Filth technology to prevent doors staying locked

Safe Randomizer

Randomizes enemy spawns using a safe global pool.

  • Bosses, Idols, Prime Souls, rodents, major set-piece entities, and unstable specials are blocked
  • Malicious Faces are protected due to softlocking easily
  • Large enemies such as the Minotaur require large spawn waves

Sandify

Gives enemies a chance to spawn sanded. Default is 100%.

Tankify

Changes enemy health by a multiplier.

  • Use values above 1x for tankier enemies or below 1x for weaker enemies.

ULTRAHOT

Time scale follows player movement speed.

Dual Wield

Enables permanent dual wielding powerups.

  • Default stack count: 1, but you can raise it as far as your PC can handle :)

Playthrough ideas

Tougher Campaign:

Stronger Enemies Enabled
MinimumTierIncrease = 1
MaximumTierIncrease = 1

Transforms the existing campaign into a familiar but more challenging remix. It's fun playing through the same old rooms with new enemy waves. And it's not as crazy as my LevelDeath mod or a Randomizer.

2x Mitosis + 1x Dual Wield

A chaotic adrenaline rush from start to finish. If you're feeling very crazy, I'd even recommend triple enemies.

ULTRAHOT Run

This classic is worth trying. Although the gimmick might not last you the entire campaign, it's still a lot of fun, especially against bosses.

  • Added Health Bars. Inspired by the old Healthbars mod by EladNLG. Shows current HP, Max HP, and recent damage taken. Bosses have their healthbars off by default.
  • Made 'Stronger Enemies' upgrades more consistent. Only exception is Drones (this is most commonly Soldier -> Drone) can become four different 'drone-like' enemies. I thought this was interesting enough to leave in.
  • Fixed Tankify enemies by using Radiant logic. Unfortuantely for now, it gives enemies a radiant glow.
  • Fixed 0-2 Softlock for Stronger Enemies and Safe Randomizer. (Single enemies are no longer replaced.)
