README

EclipseFixes

Client-side BepInEx plugin with quality-of-life UI fixes for the EclipsePlus / Bloodcraft stack in V Rising.

Features

  • Real game icons in Stat Bonuses for all new weapon types (TwinBlades, Daggers, Claws, Unarmed, FishingPole) and blood types (Immortal, VBlood, GateBoss) — no more placeholder sword.
  • Centered ×1.5 synergy markers: class-synergy stats in the Weapon Expertise / Blood Legacies lists get a yellow ×1.5 label right in the middle of the row (size and font match the row text). The 4th HUD stat applies the same ×1.5 class-synergy multiplier as the vanilla stat lines.
  • Familiars tab fixes: the page scrolls cleanly (no longer paints over the menu tab headers), unused Battles/Talents mode buttons are hidden.
  • Familiars gate fallback: servers that don't send the familiar-battle gate flag (older / forked Bloodcraft builds) but do have MaxFamiliarLevel configured no longer keep the tab hidden — familiar data shows up anyway.
  • Vanilla menu fixes: 4/4 expertise slots, 4 legacy choices, 4th HUD stat, phantom-row filter.
  • HUD icon self-healing: the Daily Quest kill icon is restored (EclipsePlus 1.4.0 regression), and the right-side profession icons re-resolve automatically if the game's one-shot sprite scan misses them while world assets are still loading.
  • Foreign-server stat display: stat caps sent in a comma-decimal server locale (vanilla Bloodcraft bug, e.g. Russian servers) are repaired client-side — HUD stat lines and Stat Bonuses display correctly there too.
  • Prestige Leaderboard fixes: the board-type dropdown lists all 28 PrestigeType entries in enum order, and the rank / name / value columns are pixel-aligned. On servers with the companion EclipseExtras 1.3.2+ every board shows its real top-10 (multi-part wire); with older servers the dropdown is still complete and the boards the server could not fit show as empty.
  • Everything is toggleable: the plugin auto-creates BepInEx/config/fix.eclipseplus.ui.cfg on first launch — turn individual features on/off without touching the DLL. Diagnostics are off by default.

Requirements

  • BepInExPack V Rising 1.733.2 (BepInEx-BepInExPack_V_Rising-1.733.2, BepInEx 6 IL2CPP / be.733) — declared as a package dependency: a mod manager installs it automatically; manual installs should set up the pack first.
  • EclipsePlus — included in this package (EclipsePlus.dll by Dinasor, bundled with permission-free redistribution caveat: original mod, this package ships it pre-patched to report protocol 1.3.9, which is what the Eclipse/Bloodcraft 1.13.22 server stack speaks).
  • V Rising matching the EclipsePlus protocol.

Install

With a mod manager (r2modman / Thunderstore Mod Manager) — just enable the mod, or manually: drop both DLLs into BepInEx/plugins.

Important: if you already have a manual EclipsePlus.dll in BepInEx/plugins, remove it when installing via a mod manager — two copies of the same plugin will conflict.

Server compatibility

This package speaks the Eclipse/Bloodcraft 1.13.x wire protocol (version 1.3.9 + the 1.13.x MAC key), so stats and menus work on any dedicated server running Bloodcraft 1.13.x with Eclipse enabled — nothing needs to be installed server-side for the base fixes. Known server-side quirks and what this package does about them:

  • Comma-decimal server locales (vanilla Bloodcraft bug): Bloodcraft formats stat caps in the server OS locale; on comma-decimal locales (e.g. Russian) every Eclipse client used to fail the config parse and show empty stats. EclipseFixes repairs the message client-side — stats now display correctly on such servers.
  • Newer Bloodcraft (post-1.13.x): servers with a rotated MAC key / protocol 1.4 do not accept this client - the HUD stays at "Sync: Connecting". Not fixable client-side; update/downgrade the server's Bloodcraft.
  • Bloodcraft forks / renumbered stat IDs: a few servers pack the chosen bonus stats with a different stat-ID enumeration than the Eclipse 1.3.x wire this client speaks. The progress message still parses (the Bonuses counter stays correct), but the IDs cannot be resolved to stat names client-side — the HUD stat lines and the green checkboxes stay empty on such servers. Nothing safe can be done client-side without a mapping for that server's build; ask your admin which Bloodcraft build/fork is running.
  • 4th expertise/legacy slot: vanilla Bloodcraft sends at most 3 stats per progress message (hardcoded), so on unpatched servers the 4th HUD stat line stays empty by design. All 4 show on servers configured for it (config Expertise/LegacyStatChoices = 4 plus a server-side wire patch that ships 4 stats).
  • Prestige / Exoform / Familiars / Class tabs need the companion EclipseExtras server plugin (ask your admin); those tabs stay empty on servers without it — everything else works.

Notes

  • Client-side only. The synergy markers use data delivered by the server's Eclipse config message; on servers without the Eclipse setup the markers simply do not appear.
  • The plugin never modifies Bloodcraft.dll or any other mod — everything is done via Harmony patches and reflection on the EclipsePlus API.
  • The companion server-side plugin (EclipseExtras: extra progress subtypes, familiar-name sanitizers, shift-slot guard) is distributed separately — ask your server admin.
  • Credits: EclipsePlus belongs to its author Dinasor (com.dinasor.eclipseplus). This package bundles it purely for convenience so players don't have to hunt for it; all credit for EclipsePlus goes to Dinasor. If you are the author and want the bundled copy removed or updated — open an issue and it will be handled promptly.

BepInEx 6 IL2CPP. Все фичи переключаются в BepInEx/config/fix.eclipseplus.ui.cfg (создаётся автоматически). Метки «×1.5» появляются только при настроенной Eclipse-инфраструктуре на сервере. Если у вас уже стоит ручной EclipsePlus.dll — уберите его, чтобы не было двух копий.

CHANGELOG

Changelog

1.2.7

  • Prestige quick-buttons — one click sends the matching .prestige me <type> chat command (new Features → QuickPrestige toggle):
    • a small Prestige button at the right of the Stat Bonuses header sends the type of the weapon you currently wield (… <Weapon>Expertise) or of the blood you have equipped (… <Blood>Legacy), following the active mode (Weapon Expertise / Blood Legacies);
    • Experience / ExoForm buttons on the Prestige Leaderboard card header send .prestige me experience / .prestige me exo.
    • The server applies its usual prestige rules exactly as for typing the command by hand (e.g. max expertise required); a rejected attempt just gets an error reply in chat.

1.2.6

  • Selected-tab glow — the active second-level tab now carries a bright crimson 3px contour so it's always obvious which tab is on: Weapon Expertise / Blood Legacies (Stat Bonuses) and Professions / Class (Progression), matching the main navigation highlight (the game's own ForceHighlight is applied to the tab buttons as well). New Features → TabGlow toggle in the config.

1.2.5

  • 4th HUD stat now applies the ×1.5 class-synergy multiplier (it showed the raw cap while the three vanilla stat lines multiplied correctly); the synthesized Weapon Expertise panel values are fixed the same way.
  • Daily Quest kill icon restored - EclipsePlus 1.4.0 read the quest kill sprites from dead fields that are never assigned (refactor regression); the plugin now bridges them after every sprite scan and re-materializes the sprites after a world switch (they can be destroyed while the cached reference stays).
  • Right-HUD profession icons self-heal - covers both failure modes of the white boxes: the game's one-shot sprite scan running while world assets are still loading, and world switches destroying the sprite objects behind EclipsePlus's sprite cache (its scan never re-reads names whose key already exists, so the dead entries stuck for the whole session). The plugin re-materializes live sprites (own cache + rescan) and re-applies the icons.
  • Stat display on foreign servers with comma-decimal locales (vanilla Bloodcraft bug, e.g. Russian servers): comma-formatted stat caps ("5,00") in the config message are repaired client-side, so HUD stat lines and Stat Bonuses display correctly instead of staying empty.
  • Familiars gate fallback: servers that never send the familiar-battle gate flag (older / forked Bloodcraft builds) but do have MaxFamiliarLevel configured no longer keep the Familiars tab hidden.

1.2.4

  • Metadata/docs refresh only: updated README, description and this changelog. Plugin binaries are byte-identical to 1.2.3 (republished because the earlier 1.2.3 upload shipped with stale package texts).

1.2.3

  • Declared dependency on BepInEx-BepInExPack_V_Rising-1.733.2 — mod managers now install the BepInEx pack automatically (built and tested against be.733: BepInEx.Core 6.0.0.0, Il2CppInterop.Runtime 1.4.6, 0Harmony 2.10.2).
  • Prestige Leaderboard: full type dropdown — the board-type dropdown now always lists all 28 PrestigeType entries in Bloodcraft enum order (boards without entries honestly say "No prestige entries yet."). On servers running the companion EclipseExtras 1.3.2+, every populated board carries its real top-10: the payload is split across several wire messages and merged client-side.
  • Prestige Leaderboard: pixel-perfect columns — rank numbers sit at a fixed left offset (no more ragged left-flush ranks); names and values keep stable column starts.

1.2.2

  • Package now bundles EclipsePlus.dll (by Dinasor), pre-patched to report protocol 1.3.9 — no manual hunting or patching needed.

1.2.1

  • Auto-created BepInEx config (fix.eclipseplus.ui.cfg) with per-feature toggles; verbose diagnostics off by default.
  • Synergy marker is now a separate label centered in the row (both axes); its font size is copied from the row label.
  • Familiars tab: scroll no longer overlaps the menu tab headers (maskable graphics restored + RectMask2D on the viewport).
  • Reduced log noise.

1.2.0

  • Yellow ×1.5 class-synergy markers in the Weapon Expertise / Blood Legacies lists.
  • Battles / Talents mode buttons hidden in the Familiars tab.
  • Support for the server-side familiar-name sanitizers (comma fix in localized VBlood names).

1.1.0

  • Real game icons for all 16 weapon/blood types in Stat Bonuses (sprite scan, no placeholders).

1.0.0

  • Initial release: weapon panel synthesis, 4/4 expertise slots, 4 legacy choices, 4th HUD stat.
