LongBo
Blunt staffs after the wooden Bō. Credit for that staff and the forges belongs to AzathothR's Shogun Eras. Pierce and the tier's element sit on the blunt.

Long Bō
The wooden Bō, the Clan Forge, and the Dragon Forge are from Shogun Eras by AzathothR. These staffs are built on that work. Credit for it belongs there. This package was put together with AI.
The field manual, with the stats and the spawn commands, is at valbostaff.sprekn.com.
Blunt staffs for every tier after that Bō. Damage, stamina, and durability follow the atgeir sheet. Pierce and the metal's element are on top of the blunt. The number in parentheses is what each quality adds.
| Staff | Spawn | Where | Blunt | Also on the hit | Stamina | Durability |

Clan Forge is the prefab Forgeshogun_stone. Dragon Forge is Forgeshogun_black. If those tables are not in the world, wood-tier falls back to the workbench, bronze through black metal fall back to the forge, and Mistlands through the Deep North fall back to the black forge, then the forge. Fallback recipes use station level 1 so a missing Shogun extension does not lock them. Materials still gate the tier.
Put plugins/BatBoys-LongBo/LongBo.dll in BepInEx/plugins/BatBoys-LongBo on the dedicated server and on every client. Shogun Eras is not required, so a world without it can still craft the staffs. With it, they copy AzathothR's Bō and use those forges. Without it, they copy an atgeir and set the damage themselves.
EpicLoot does not see these staffs unless the patch is installed. The zip includes config/EpicLoot/patches/BatBoys-LongBo/loottables.json. r2modman copies that into the profile. Put the same file on the server. Bronze through Storm join the weapon list of their tier. Rime joins the Deep North list. EpicLoot has no separate Deep North weapon set, so that list is Tier 7, the same one the Ashlands uses. Infernal is on it too. Restart after adding it. EpicLoot logs a patch error if a set name is missing.
Config file: BepInEx/config/dev.longbo.polearms.cfg
Damage multiplier scales blunt, pierce, elemental damage, and every per-level gain. Keep that number the same on the server and every player. The damage keys were renamed, so an older config will not keep the previous blunt numbers. The multiplier itself is unchanged.
Spawn
Press F5, then devcommands. On a dedicated server you have to be an admin. The last number is the quality. 1 is a fresh staff. 4 is fully raised.
spawn BBL_BoWood 1 4
spawn BBL_BoBronze 1 4
spawn BBL_BoIron 1 4
spawn BBL_BoSilver 1 4
spawn BBL_BoBlackmetal 1 4
spawn BBL_BoStorm 1 4
spawn BBL_BoInfernal 1 4
spawn BBL_BoRime 1 4
BBL_BoWood only exists when Shogun's own Bō is not loaded. Change the 4 to 1 if you want the untempered staff.
Changes
The guide above is how the staffs work. This list is what changed.
1.1.32
- An equipped staff shows on the character select screen. The same prefab is added to the menu item list, and it is not destroyed on logout.
1.1.31
- Logging out was leaving a dead staff in the item list. The character screen then failed while building the body.
- The staffs are taken off that list before the world closes.
1.1.30
- The staffs register on the world item list again. 1.1.28 was writing them while the main menu was open, so they vanished on the way into a world.
- The staff mesh is shown again. Effects stay off.
1.1.29
- Knockback climbs from 30 to 60. The Rime Bō is the top of that line.
- The Storm Bō is the exception, at 75. The wind on it takes a foe off their feet.
1.1.28
- Staff effects no longer stay awake off screen, which was slowing the game the longer a session ran.
- Logging out no longer asks the staffs to rebuild while the main menu is opening.
1.1.27
- The staffs are registered once, after the item list is actually loaded.
- Startup notes are compiled out. A failure still shows in the log.
1.1.26
- Knockback is 30 on every staff, the same as the atgeir. It no longer climbs from 40 to 95.
1.1.25
- Startup notes are quiet. A failure still shows in the log.
1.1.24
- The staffs were missing from the Clan Forge and the Dragon Forge. They show there now.
- The recipe was saved before Valheim had loaded Fine Wood, Bronze, and the rest, so the cost was empty and the forge hid it. The cost is written after those materials exist.
- The forge piece was not loaded yet either, so the recipe was left on the inventory craft list. It is assigned once the Clan Forge or Dragon Forge exists.
- The log no longer reports CraftingStation.Awake. This version of the game does not have that method.
- The log no longer reports UpdateItemHashes. Valheim 1.0 registers items with UpdateRegisters, and a staff still survives a logout.
- Stats, recipes, and the EpicLoot patch are the same as 1.1.17.
1.1.17
- First package. The staff line, the EpicLoot patch, and this guide.
