0.24.10 diagnostic build, not a confirmed multiplayer fix. Records bounded host-state rejection reasons and first send/receive/accepted markers. Both host and guest must use0.24.10. Join once, wait for ready, press F8, then preserve both game logs. Do not reset progress, move money or complete a floor for this diagnostic. No root cause or successful co-op acceptance is claimed.

Start playing
- Install through r2modman with PathOfValheiman, Jötunn and BepInExPack. Everyone needs the same Beyond patch and matching full modpack. Close Valheim before replacing Beyond; enable only one copy.
- Find the Beyond map marker near spawn and interact with the Evil Statue. F8 opens the menu for browsing anywhere; opening a portal still requires the stone.
- Select an unlocked floor and choose Open portal. Each participant presses E during its 10-second admission window. Preparation finishes before payment/admission; combat waits for accepted arrivals.

- Friends enter free. Only the surviving, eligible opener receives clear coins, directly into their character bank. Other eligible survivors still earn completion and shop access.
- Entry and Beyond purchases spend bank first, then the carried shortfall. No entrance keys are required. Normal run failure consumes the entry fee.
- Progress and bank follow the character across worlds/hosts. Confirmed Reset progress clears completion while preserving bank, items and lifetime records.
- Only authored named targets drop items; ordinary mobs, adds and Trial swarms retain XP without item drops. Named rewards use existing PoV chances and kill-credit rules.
Trader and recovery
Use the optional portal after a clear to reach the safe trader and heal. Shop tabs cover Trial through the floor cleared in that run. Deposit/withdraw 500 or 2,000 coins; character saving may briefly pause.
Collect belongings before leaving. All loose items left on an emptied combat floor or shop are deleted on reset. Graves are preserved/relocated; inventories, containers and occupied party shops are protected. Keep saves and recovery evidence if a transfer reports a problem.
All peers need the same Beyond patch and full modpack. For a quick co-op check, test a joint Trial, opener death, separate Trial runs and guest reconnect using copied saves. Native multiplayer acceptance remains pending.
