CHANGELOG

Changelog

2.1.9

  • Fixed stale cultivator berry bush entries after leaving and rejoining a world. Inventory changes and building no longer trigger recipe or build piece null-reference errors caused by those entries; item pickup can now complete normally.

2.1.8

  • Added server-synchronized Achievements.EnableWithMods, disabled by default. When enabled, the modded-game flag alone no longer blocks achievements. Native checks for cheats, cheated items, and disallowed world modifiers still apply.

2.1.7

  • Kept the personal inventory Sort A-Z button inside the inventory panel so it no longer overlays the character's active-effects information.

2.1.6

  • Added server-synchronized Farming.PlantBerryBushes, enabled by default. The cultivator can plant recognized regrowing berry bushes for five matching fruits each. The current game assets include raspberry, blueberry, cloudberry and lingonberry bushes; compatible modded berry bushes are included when their network prefabs and fruit items are available. Placed bushes retain native picking and respawn behavior and require cultivated ground.
  • Removed the mod's 30-second character save checkpoint for persistent Rested and potion effects. Their remaining durations are recorded only when the game normally saves the character, including normal logout; crashes may lose unsaved progress.
  • Close the native inventory automatically when entering a portal that can open the destination map or begin teleporting. This prevents the inventory from remaining modal and blocking keys and clicks during the transition.

2.1.5

  • Raised the F7 admin spawn menu and its quantity prompt above other UI canvases so clicks reach the intended controls reliably.
  • Rested and temporary potion/tonic effects, including Tonic of Ratatosk, now resume with their saved remaining seconds after reconnecting. Time spent offline no longer consumes these effects. A character checkpoint is saved every 30 seconds while an eligible effect is active, limiting progress lost to a crash; normal logout saves the current remaining time. Added server-synchronized Potions.PersistEffectsAcrossLogout, enabled by default. Rested.PersistAcrossLogout remains enabled by default.

2.1.4

  • Integrated Better Networking 2.3.2 networking behavior under its MIT license: negotiated Zstandard compression for Steamworks and PlayFab, early connection packet buffering, configurable socket queue thresholds, Steamworks send rates, ZDO update rates, and dedicated server player limit and crossplay options. Clients and servers running this version use the same server-controlled settings. The original Better Networking mod should not be loaded alongside this integration.

2.1.3

  • Removed the list chest deposit button. Click inside the chest list to deposit the selected inventory stack; Shift split quantities are respected. Shift-clicking a chest list row opens the native split dialog to withdraw a chosen amount.

  • Added server-controlled Building.UnlimitedHeight, disabled by default. When enabled, connected building pieces no longer lose structural support over distance or height. Placement range, crafting station requirements, piece damage and other building rules remain unchanged.

  • Added a Sort A-Z button below the open chest controls. It arranges existing item stacks by their displayed names in the player's selected game language, preserving each stack and its metadata.

  • Fixed a startup error in the chest sorter caused by binding to an outdated Inventory.Changed method signature.

  • Moved the chest sorting button outside the item grid, below the chest window's right edge.

  • Added Sort A-Z to the personal inventory view. It appears only when no container is open, sorts by localized item name, and leaves the entire first row and every favorited item's slot untouched.

  • Added separate server-controlled Inventory.ShowChestSortButton and Inventory.ShowPlayerSortButton settings. Both default to true; disabling either hides its respective button.

  • Added server-controlled Inventory.ListChestTypes (none by default) and Inventory.ListChestRows (250 by default, range 20–1000). Select wood, iron, and/or black metal chests with comma-separated names to replace their grid with a searchable alphabetic list showing icon, name, and stack quantity. Each list row is one item slot, with item variants kept separate. Existing chests are migrated without replacing their item stacks. When set to none, the row setting is ignored; converted chests with excess contents keep their list until they fit the original grid.

2.1.2

  • Raised the configurable maximum for nearby chest crafting and quick stacking from 50 m to 100 m; both defaults remain 25 m. Resource indicators now use the same chest-center distance check as transfers.
  • Building with nearby chest resources now waits for chest authorization and resumes the native placement attempt while the selected piece and target remain unchanged. Repeated crafting clicks no longer cancel a pending authorization.
  • Improved chest ownership handoff checks for dedicated servers, using the authenticated peer's character and player IDs. Added rejection and timeout diagnostics for chest access. Every client and the server must run this version for these transfers to work consistently.
  • Applied the 80 KB ZDO send budget directly in the game's send routine, preserving the sockets' real queue readings, and expanded detection of conflicting network optimizers. The default object update rate remains the native 20 updates per second.

2.1.1

  • Expanded the Ctrl + mouse-wheel terrain radius control to Cultivate, Grass and Paved road. Each action keeps its own native starting radius and can be adjusted in 0.5 m steps up to Terrain.MaximumFlattenRadius; dirt paths, terrain raising and planting remain unchanged.

2.1.0

  • Added server-controlled Terrain.DynamicFlattenRadius, enabled by default, and Terrain.MaximumFlattenRadius, default 10 m. Hold Ctrl and scroll in 0.5 m steps to adjust the effective radius and preview of Level ground, Cultivate, Grass and Paved road from each action's native radius up to the server limit. Switching function/tool or disconnecting restores the original radius. Raise ground, dirt paths, planting and other actions are unchanged.
  • Fixed the selected radius being applied only to the preview circle; the terrain operation now uses the same effective radius.
  • Expanded connected-roof replacement to every compatible native roof family. Grausten 45-degree straight, inner-corner and outer-corner roof pieces can now replace, or be replaced by, matching thatch and darkwood shapes. Decorative arches and triangular wall pieces remain excluded because they have no shape-equivalent roof tile.
  • Added server-controlled Terrain.UnlimitedFlattening, disabled by default. When enabled, Level ground can reach its target below or above the native per-use and original-terrain limits without requiring a pickaxe. Raise ground, paths, cultivation and other terrain functions retain their native limits.

2.0.9

  • Added server-controlled Woodcutting.OneHitStumps, enabled by default. One valid player chop destroys recognized tree stumps while preserving native tool-tier checks, resistance, effects and drops. Standing trees, fallen logs, buildings and non-chop damage are unchanged.

2.0.8

  • Added server-controlled Building.CtrlClickReplaceConnectedRoofs, disabled by default. Select a thatch or darkwood roof piece, then Ctrl-click an existing supported roof to replace its entire directly connected roof covering while preserving each piece's shape, position and rotation. The operation requires the full new-roof cost in the inventory, validates every piece before starting, returns recovered materials to the inventory and drops overflow at the player. If inventory materials are insufficient, nothing is placed or replaced and a centered message lists each missing resource quantity.
  • Fixed Ctrl-click roof targeting to use the hammer's direct camera raycast. Once Ctrl is held with a supported roof selected, native single-piece placement is always suppressed, including when no valid target is found.
  • Fixed thatch and darkwood roof recognition to use the actual prefab names from the current game assets rather than their localization keys.
  • Portal destination pins now use a dedicated highest-priority UI layer, so personal and ordinary map markers cannot cover them when zooming out.
  • Added server-controlled Exploration.RevealEntireMap, disabled by default, to permanently reveal 100% of the current world's map when enabled.
  • Rebuilt the public mod after reorganizing the development projects and release directories.

2.0.7

  • Fixed automatic chest transfers closing another player's chest window. Ctrl-click pulls, nearby-chest crafting/building and quick stack now respect the replicated in-use state and require the current controller's authorization before a network ownership handoff.

  • Open chests are skipped. Ctrl-click pulls collect available resources from free chests; a partial pull blocked by an open chest reports, for example, "Collected 4/5 Wood. Chest in use." If no materials can be collected because of an open chest, the message is "Chest in use."

  • Transfers wait for the latest chest inventory before changing items, recheck access/range and cancel safely on timeout or disconnect. Crafting rechecks native requirements after authorization; building uses only safely owned chest stock while access is being prepared. Short handoff reservations expire automatically and are released when an operation ends.

  • Added server-controlled Food.ExtraSlots (default 1): choose 0 for the native three foods, or 1–3 for four to six foods. HUD slots follow the synchronized limit.

  • Ctrl-click ingredient icons and hammer pieces now retrieve the full displayed ingredient cost from nearby chests on every click, regardless of inventory stock. Partial stock and inventory space remain supported.

  • Added server-controlled Processing.CookingTimeMultiplier (default 0.5) for cooking racks over fires, including iron cooking stations. Cooking and burning thresholds scale together; stone ovens retain their separate multiplier.

2.0.6

  • Added an F7 admin item spawn menu with localized-name/prefab search, safe icons and a quantity prompt. The server checks adminlist before opening and validates every spawn through the existing native remote-command path. Non-admins see "You're not admin". F7 closes the menu; Escape cancels the prompt or closes the menu. Gameplay controls are blocked while open.
  • Added Equipment.ExtraUpgradeLevels (default 2) for upgradeable weapons, shields and armor. Extra tiers require the station at its maximum level, derived from distinct buildable extensions; normal tiers keep native station requirements. Uses native ingredient costs and attribute progression. Server-synchronized and locked; reducing the setting does not downgrade existing items. Stackable-extension stations are excluded because they have no finite maximum.
  • Added server-synchronized Potions.RatatoskStaminaRegenMultiplier, default 1.5: stamina regenerates 50% faster while Tonic of Ratatosk is active. Multiplies the final regeneration rate, including other bonuses. Maximum stamina, stamina costs and the initial regeneration delay remain unchanged. Set 1 for native regeneration.

2.0.5

  • Added server-controlled stone oven capacity (10 items) and baking time multiplier (0.5). Occupied higher slots remain retrievable if capacity decreases; burning time scales proportionally.
  • Added Ratatosk tonic duration multiplier (1.5), extending its normal 10-minute effect to 15 minutes without changing speed bonuses or other meads.
  • Added server-controlled Mistlands.DisableMist (false by default) and Mistlands.WispRadiusMultiplier (2 by default). Doubles the equipped Wisplight radius; disabling mist overrides that multiplier. Wisp torches and ordinary weather fog remain unchanged.
  • Added server-synchronized Processing.ProductionTimeMultiplier, default 0.5, for kilns, smelters, blast furnaces, windmills and spinning wheels. A value of 1 preserves original production timing. Cooking and fermentation are unchanged.

2.0.4

  • Updated the bilingual website guide with expandable practical usage instructions, separate station/hammer Ctrl-click steps and material retrieval examples.
  • Personal auto-pickup blacklist selections now appear first across pages, alphabetically within each group; search still filters all items.
  • Fixed F8 menu opening for internal prefabs with missing icons or invalid icon variants; missing-icon items remain searchable and selectable.
  • Fixed blacklist startup by reading Valheim's global auto-pickup toggle as a private static field.
  • Added a searchable personal auto-pickup blacklist menu (F8), saved per character, with an Unmark all button.
  • Blacklisted items remain on the ground. Native global auto pickup stays authoritative; manual pickup and chest transfers are unchanged. Servers control feature availability, not individual selections.
  • Fixed single-click bed sleeping during the native afternoon/night window; the three-second hold is only required outside that window.
  • Added Ctrl + left-click on a requirement icon to retrieve only the missing ingredient quantity from nearby chests. Partial stock/space is supported; existing automatic chest crafting remains unchanged. Ctrl-click a hammer-menu piece to retrieve missing ingredients for one build without closing the menu.
  • Added a small white day/time clock at the top center of the HUD.
  • Added hover countdowns for plants (including planted trees), cooking/overcooking, fermentation, production machines, honey, sap, egg hatching and fireplace fuel.
  • Timers read native progress without changing durations; blocked processes show paused states and variable production shows estimates. Both display options are enabled by default and server-synchronized.
  • Restored optional Shift auto planting (enabled by default), using only inventory resources with no stamina cost, original durability costs and growth/access checks.
  • Removed the per-plant delay: batches process multiple plants per frame with bounded work to reduce frame stalls.
  • Resource indicators now show inventory / required on the first line, with nearby chest stock in parentheses on the second line.
  • Expanded the text height and removed text truncation while preserving requirement costs and white/yellow/flashing-red availability colors.
  • Raised the two-line resource label by two UI units to keep it inside the slot border.

2.0.3

  • Added optional server-controlled natural mob spawning multiplier, preserving original spawning at 1.
  • Added optional cross-biome farming, disabled by default, while preserving other growth requirements.
  • Added optional hold-to-sleep at any time: hold the interaction key on your current claimed bed for three seconds. Disabled by default; multiplayer still requires everyone to lie down.
  • Added maximum-power windmills, enabled by default, without changing recipes, barley consumption, or base processing time.
  • Removed experimental Shift auto planting completely, including its stamina override and configuration options. Shift harvesting remains available.
  • Updated the local feature guide and added a bilingual developer credit.

2.0.2

  • Fixed Loot.ResourceDropMultiplier for tree trunks and other destructibles whose loot is generated directly through DropTable.GetDropList.
  • Added a shared nested-call guard so every loot operation is multiplied exactly once, even when Valheim routes it through multiple drop methods.
  • A multiplier of 1 now bypasses resource-rate modification entirely, preserving Valheim's original drop behavior.
  • Valheim's native non-scalable drop protection remains respected for special items.

2.0.1

  • Moved the complete mod description, feature list, configuration reference, and installation guidance to vqol.catini.org.
  • Replaced the oversized Thunderstore feature list with a short introduction that directs players to the official interactive guide.

2.0.0

  • Introduced the official interactive feature guide at vqol.catini.org, with automatic Portuguese or English presentation and a manual language switch.
  • Replaced the oversized Thunderstore description with a concise overview that points players to the complete, searchable documentation.
  • Consolidated the current quality-of-life feature set under the 2.0 release line.

1.30.7

  • Increased the default outgoing network queue from 48 KB to 80 KB.
  • Increased the default object-update rate from 75% to 100%, equivalent to 20 updates per second.
  • Fixed quick stacking to transfer cloned item data and remove only the quantity the destination chest actually accepted, preventing shared item references and disappearing items.
  • Stopped manually destroying the network-registered chest effect; its native Valheim lifecycle now handles cleanup without leaving invalid ZNetScene references.
  • Fixed the administrative spawn response being discarded by an overly strict client-side RPC identity check.
  • Spawn success is now shown only after the client actually creates the item; failures and execution are recorded in the client log.
  • Removed the invalid dedicated-server requirement for Player.GetPlayer(peer.m_playerID), which rejected authorized players even after Valheim assigned their character ZDOID.
  • Fixed the favorite marker font warning by cloning the inventory's existing amount-label object instead of constructing an uninitialized TextMeshPro component.
  • Fixed administrative item spawning when a prefab's template ItemData.m_dropPrefab is null by cloning the item data and explicitly assigning the resolved network prefab before calling ItemDrop.DropItem.
  • Added Rested.PersistAcrossLogout, enabled by default, to preserve the remaining Rested-buff duration per character and world while continuing to count down during offline time.

1.30.6

  • Fixed favorites for weapons, armor, tools, and other items whose custom-data dictionary had not yet been initialized.
  • Replaced the modified stack-count label with a dedicated gold favorite star in the upper-right corner of each slot.
  • Expanded requirement counters to show (inventory/nearby chests) / cost and reduced their font size with automatic fitting.
  • Quick stack now protects every equippable item, including unequipped weapons, armor, capes, shields, bows, tools, and utility equipment.
  • Equippable items can no longer be favorited because they are already protected automatically; obsolete favorite marks on them are removed.

1.30.5

  • Changed the favorite-item shortcut from the middle mouse button to F while hovering an inventory item.
  • Favorite state remains persistent on the specific item or stack and continues to protect it from quick stacking.
  • Fixed authorized multiplayer spawn commands by delivering approval through the requesting player's direct server connection before creating the networked item locally.

1.30.4

  • Added the multiplayer spawn <prefab> <amount> command for players authorized by the server's adminlist.txt, with server-side validation, safe stack splitting, and audit logging.
  • Added Loot.ResourceDropMultiplier, set to 3x by default, for gathered resources, crops, trees, mining, and creature loot without multiplying player-dropped items.
  • Changed the default building-station range multiplier from 3x to 2.5x, approximately 25 meters for stations with a 10-meter base range.
  • Corrected the Harmony parameter mapping for nearby-chest resource consumption on the current Valheim version.
  • Fixed portal map pins sometimes disappearing after returning to the menu and reconnecting to a server.
  • Portal pins from a previous Minimap instance are now cleared when the network session ends.
  • The mod now verifies that every tracked portal pin still exists in the active map and automatically recreates missing pins.
  • Added persistent item favorites toggled with the middle mouse button and marked with a star in the inventory.
  • Corrected favorite toggling to use Valheim's native middle-click event on inventory slots.
  • Added quick stacking with the period key (.) for compatible chests within 25 meters by default.
  • Quick stacking protects the first inventory row, favorited items, and equipped items.
  • Items move only into chests that already contain the same item, respect available capacity and permissions, and remain with the player when no valid destination exists.
  • Quick stacking now displays a centered English confirmation when items are sent, or when no compatible chest space is available.
  • Added the optional red vfx_Potion_health_medium effect to each chest that receives quick-stacked items.
  • Added building, crafting, and upgrading with resources stored in eligible nearby chests.
  • Nearby resources are included in recipe and building-piece availability at every crafting station, including compatible modded recipes.
  • Resources are consumed from the player inventory first and then from the closest eligible chests within 25 meters by default.
  • Requirement icons now show separate resource totals as inventory/nearby chests for building, crafting, and upgrading.
  • Requirement totals remain white when the inventory covers the cost, turn steady yellow when nearby chests are required, and flash red only when the combined resources are insufficient.

1.30.3

  • Changed instant monster drops to accelerate the original ragdoll-removal sequence instead of spawning loot separately.
  • Monsters now produce their removal smoke immediately after death, and Valheim releases the loot together with that smoke.
  • Removed the artificial half-second loot delay introduced in 1.30.2.

1.30.2

  • Corrected the visual order of instant monster drops.
  • Loot now appears half a second after the death smoke begins instead of appearing before the death effect.
  • The feature still avoids waiting for the monster ragdoll to disappear.

1.30.1

  • Increased the default Shift-harvest crop radius from 1 meter to 3 meters.
  • Added Portals.AllowRestrictedItems, disabled by default, to optionally permit portal travel with ores, metals, and other normally restricted items.
  • Added server-authoritative synchronization for every ccorp setting.
  • Server settings are locked on clients during multiplayer sessions, while each client's original local settings are restored after disconnecting.
  • Added Loot.InstantMonsterDrops, enabled by default, to release monster loot immediately on death instead of waiting for the ragdoll to disappear.

1.30.0

  • Expanded the Thunderstore description with a detailed list explaining every included feature and its default behavior.
  • Added configurable area repair when using the hammer.
  • Repairing a structure also repairs eligible nearby structures within 3 meters by default.
  • Nearby repairs respect ward access and piece-removal permissions and do not consume additional stamina or tool durability.
  • Map-based portals now display the normal connected glow and proximity activation effect when another destination is available.
  • Reduced the default boss-power cooldown from 20 to 10 minutes while preserving the original 5-minute buff duration.
  • Doubled the map exploration radius outside boats and tripled it while aboard a boat, including passengers.
  • Doubled the automatic item-attraction and pickup range.
  • Holding Shift while harvesting a mature crop now harvests other mature crops within 1 meter.

1.28.0

  • Added configurable network queue-size and object-update-rate tuning for clients and servers.
  • Defaults to a multiplayer-focused 48 KB queue and 75% update rate to reduce upload saturation.
  • Automatically disables ccorp network tuning when a conflicting network optimizer is installed.
  • Network compression is intentionally excluded to preserve protocol safety and the BepInEx-only package.

1.27.0

  • Removed delayed kicks, countdowns, chat warnings, and their timeout configuration options.
  • Incompatible reported ccorp versions are now logged as server warnings and kicked immediately.

1.26.2

  • Corrected the maximum accepted mod-handshake timeout so the 180-second default is preserved.

1.26.1

  • Version-mismatch kicks now wait until the player's character enters the world.
  • Added a three-minute post-spawn grace period with a private version warning every five seconds before disconnection.
  • Corrected the maximum accepted mod-handshake timeout so the 180-second default is preserved.

1.26.0

  • Split public version compatibility from CatiniCorp's private website account validation.
  • Servers running ccorp now require the same ccorp version by default while allowing unrelated client mods.
  • The public mod does not contain, configure, or enable CatiniCorp website account validation.
  • Added information about the official CatiniCorp Valheim server and community website.

1.25.4

  • Client mod-list enforcement is now disabled by default so the public mod can be used freely in singleplayer and on compatible servers.
  • Clarified that website account validation belongs to a separate private server-only plugin and is not included in this package.
  • Expanded configuration comments for all optional strict-validation settings.

1.25.3

  • Increased the default client mod-handshake timeout to three minutes for slow-loading clients.
  • Restored the standard Valheim kicked dialog; private servers can display an in-game warning before disconnecting players.

1.25.2

  • Server rejection dialogs now display the specific reason instead of the generic kicked message.
  • Increased the default client mod-handshake timeout to 60 seconds for slower connections.

1.25.1

  • Portal map markers are now displayed in red, making them easier to distinguish from other map pins.

1.25.0

  • Added strict client mod-list validation for multiplayer servers.
  • Added synchronized portal map markers and portal-initiated destination selection.
  • Refined the English Thunderstore description and documentation.

1.24.2

  • Changed the Thunderstore package description and introduction to English.

1.24.1

  • Improved the Thunderstore description to present ccorp as a small all-in-one quality-of-life mod for groups of friends.
  • Added a clearer invitation for feedback and feature suggestions.

1.24.0

  • Added a native client/server mod-list handshake without Jötunn or ServerSync.
  • Servers can reject clients with missing, extra, outdated, or modified BepInEx plugins.
  • Strict validation defaults to ccorp only, including exact version and DLL SHA-256 verification.

1.23.0

  • Replaced the portal destination list with fixed portal markers on the world map.
  • Entering a portal opens the map; clicking a portal marker during that selection teleports the player to it.
  • Portal markers cannot be used to teleport from arbitrary locations.
  • Portal markers are synchronized from the server for all online players using the mod.

1.22.0

  • Prepared the mod for Thunderstore distribution.
  • Includes the current configurable inventory, food, skill, sailing, item stack, portal, comfort, combat, building, processing, and wooden-chest features.
  • No gameplay behavior was changed as part of packaging.
