README

Runic Exploration 1.0.4

Find your way back to places you have already discovered.

Using the map browser

Open Valheim's large map to search saved pins in explored areas. Filter personal and shared pins, select a result and center the map on it. Known-location details include distance, direction and elevation.

Use name tags such as [boat] and [cart] to organize saved locations. Tombstones, beds and bosses are recognized too. The browser groups duplicate entries for display while keeping your map pins intact.

While you control a ship, the optional sailing readout shows local ship and sail information.

Configuration

Choose browser, selected-pin and sailing panels under Panels. Use KnownMap.IncludeSharedPins for shared locations. Display controls result count, side, scale and controller readability; Performance.RefreshIntervalSeconds controls refresh timing.

Installation

Install locally with BepInExPack Valheim. No server installation or other Runic mod is required. Your existing explored map and pins provide the locations shown.

Languages

The mod follows Valheim's selected language, with English fallback. Keep the included Translations folder beside the mod DLL when installing manually.
