Installation

Manual

• Un-zip LicensePlate.dll to your /Valheim/BepInEx/plugins/ folder.

Thunderstore (manual)

• Go to Settings > Import local mod > Select LicensePlate_v1.1.0.zip.
• Click "OK/Import local mod" on the pop-up for information.

Features

Name your ship

1. Target the rudder controls of the ship
2. Hit LeftShift + E to show the "Rename" dialog box
3. Give your ship a custom name (64 characters max)
4. Custom ship name will pop-up when within 25 meters (configurable)

Name your cart

1. Target the handle part of the cart
2. Hit LeftShift + E to show the "Rename" dialog box
3. Give your cart a custom name (64 characters max)
4. Custom cart name will pop-up when within 10 meters (configurable)

Configuration

Some configuration options are available (default values shown)

• Changes do not take effect immediately for visible names.
• Move out of cutoff distance range to rebuild the name.

• CutoffDistance
  • Distance from the ship/cart the custom name should appear/disappear.
• DisplayOffset
  • Positional offset from the center of the ship/cart to display the custom name.
• StripHtmlTags
  • If enabled, strips html tags (like color/size/b/i) from the displayed custom name.

• This is the good enough release with more features/options to be added later.
