README

Easy Repair Area

Press a single hotkey and every damaged build piece inside a configurable sphere around you is repaired — walls, floors, beams, doors, furniture and even boats. No need to hit a piece with the hammer first.

Repaired pieces cost no materials. By default no crafting station is required, but the mod can enforce one near each piece. A health threshold (default 95%) makes it repair only damaged pieces, and per-material toggles let you choose what gets repaired. Feedback messages and the vanilla hammer sound can be turned on or off in the config.

Usage

In-game, press the configured hotkey (default: + on the numpad).

  • Pieces repaired — a message shows how many, within which radius, and the hammer's vanilla sound plays (optional).
  • Nothing below the threshold — a message tells you there is nothing below the configured health %.
  • Workbench required and missing — a message says a crafting station is needed nearby.
  • All damaged pieces filtered out by material — a message tells you so.
  • Not enough stamina (when the stamina cost is enabled) — a message shows the cost.

The hotkey only works inside a loaded world and while the game is not paused.

Config

BepInEx/config/fernasz.easyrepairarea.cfg

Setting Default What it does
Enabled true Turns the mod on or off.
Radius 100 Sphere radius in meters around the player.
Hotkey KeypadPlus Any Unity KeyCode (e.g. F8, BackQuote, KeypadEnter, KeypadPlus).
HealthThreshold 95 Repair only pieces below this health % (0 = repair everything, no filter).
Wood true Repair wooden pieces.
Stone true Repair stone pieces.
Marble true Repair marble pieces.
Others true Repair pieces of any other material (iron, chitin, etc.).
Boats true Repair boats and ships (own rule, independent of the material toggles).
RequireStation false When true, a piece is repaired only if a crafting station is within ~30 m of it.
UseStamina false When true, each use consumes stamina.
StaminaCost 20 Stamina consumed per use (only when UseStamina is true).
Sound true Play the hammer's vanilla sound effect on use.

The file is created with defaults the first time the mod loads — just edit it and restart the game. Keys missing from an older version are re-added with their default values on the next load, so upgrading never breaks your existing settings.

How it works

The plugin scans loaded build pieces (WearNTear components — the same component used by the hammer's repair action, which also covers boats) and calls the game's own repair method on each piece in range that passes the configured filters: health threshold, per-material toggles and, when enabled, proximity to a crafting station.

The sound reuses the hammer's own construction effect from the game's assets — no custom audio files, and it always matches the current game version.

It does not use Harmony and does not patch any game code or other mods, so it is safe to run alongside other building mods, including RunicCrafting.

Multiplayer

Repairs are performed by the client and sync through the game's own network code. Install the mod on every client that should use the hotkey. Installing it on the dedicated server is optional — the mod is client-side and registers no RPCs.

Install

Install with r2modman or the Thunderstore Mod Manager.

  • Atalho configurável (padrão: + do teclado numérico)
