Inventory and QoL

Adventure Backpack at crafting stations and with Store Nearby, safer drag and drop, Steam achievements with mods, Rested that survives a relog, more control over Store Nearby, and skill XP in the Skills window.

7 mods in one: Backpack At Stations, Backpack Store Nearby, Safe Item Move, Achievement Keeper, Keep Rested, Store Nearby Plus, Skill XP.

Every mod in detail, with all its settings: see the Wiki tab.

How it works

  • Open the settings (F1). At the top, 0 - Sub-mods has a switch for every mod in this pack: turn on only what you want. Switching one off removes it right away, no restart.
  • Below that, every mod has its own settings, under its name.
  • F1 needs a config manager mod, e.g. ConfigurationManager by shudnal (included in Digi Modpack). Without one the mods still run with their default settings, and you can change the settings in r2modman: Config editor → digi.valheim.qol.cfg.
  • Upgrading from the separate DigiTeam mods: your settings are copied over automatically the first time. Remove the separate ones (a mod that is still installed separately is skipped here).

Mods

Backpack At Stations

Needs Adventure Backpacks.

Open your Adventure Backpack at crafting stations.

  • Workbench, forge, cauldron and modded stations, not only the inventory key.
  • Follows Adventure Backpacks' own Open with Inventory setting.

Backpack Store Nearby

Needs Local Craft From Storage Prime and Adventure Backpacks.

Store Nearby also puts matching items from your backpack into nearby chests.

  • Local Craft From Storage Prime's Store Nearby button also shows under an open backpack.
  • One click stores matching items from your inventory and your backpack into nearby chests.

Safe Item Move

Items you drag around your inventory can no longer vanish.

  • Fixes items vanishing when you drop a stack onto a slot holding a different item.
  • Anything that vanished is given back, and logged so the cause can be found.

Achievement Keeper

Steam achievements keep working with mods.

  • Valheim normally blocks achievements in modded games; with this they unlock as usual.
  • Optionally they keep counting after console cheats or on cheat worlds, and the Cheats stat can be hidden.

Keep Rested

Your Rested buff stays when you log out and back in.

  • The game saves your food when you log out, but not Rested: now Rested comes back too, with the same time left.
  • After dying you lose it as normal. Nothing runs while you play.

Store Nearby Plus

Needs Local Craft From Storage Prime.

Store Nearby also stores food and potions, never touches extra slots, and a checkbox per chest to skip it.

  • Local Craft From Storage's Store Nearby also puts cooked food and potions into chests that already hold them (both switchable). Your hotbar and the slots other mods add are never touched.
  • A checkbox in every chest window: untick it and your Store Nearby skips that chest. The auto stations, crafting and building keep using it.

Skill XP

The Skills window shows each skill's XP, e.g. 24 12/63.

  • After each level: the XP you have and the XP the next level needs (or a percentage, or both).
  • Hover a skill for the details: XP to the next level and how far you are.

Notes

  • Mods that need another mod only start when that mod is installed; the rest work without it.

CHANGELOG

Changelog

1.0.6

  • Fixed: with bigger pockets (more inventory rows), Store Nearby Plus and Sell To Haldor left the new rows alone as if they were extra slots. They now use the inventory's real size; slots other mods add outside it (equipment, quick slots) are still left alone.

1.0.5

  • New: Item Pickup Fix. Items from other mods whose collider has no shape (HoneyPlus' Honey Cooked Meat and Honey Cooked Neck) could not be picked up and kept falling through the floor. They now get a box of their own size and behave like any other item.
  • Keep Rested: new setting "Rest speed" (default 2x): resting gives Rested after 10 seconds instead of 20 (slider 1-10x, 1 = vanilla).
  • New: Sell To Haldor. Haldor also buys your food ((health + stamina + eitr) / 10 coins each; a Food box in his window, never your hotbar or extra slots) and every kind of hide, pelt and leather (a Hides box).

1.0.4

  • New: Effect Details. Effect tooltips show the values the game leaves out: damage bonus (Aesir mead: All damage: +10%), skill XP bonus, health or damage per tick, stamina drain and wind modifiers, and durations in minutes (300 (5:00)).

1.0.3

  • New: Keep Rested. Your Rested buff stays when you log out and back in, with the same time left (after dying you still lose it).
  • New: Skill XP. The Skills window shows each skill's XP, e.g. "24 12/63" (XP you have / XP the next level needs), and the details when you hover a skill.
  • New: Store Nearby Plus (needs Local Craft From Storage Prime). Store Nearby also stores cooked food and potions (both switchable), never touches extra slots from other mods, and every chest window gets a checkbox to keep that chest out of your Store Nearby (the auto stations still use it).

1.0.2

  • A mod that is installed twice (on its own and inside this combined mod) now shows a message in the main menu, so you know to remove the separate one. Before, only the log said so.
  • Fixed: some separate mods were not noticed, so both copies ran at the same time. Now the copy in the combined mod always stays off until the separate one is removed.

1.0.1

  • Mod page: a short section for every mod, a link to the new wiki (every mod in detail, with all its settings), and a note that F1 needs a config manager mod (e.g. ConfigurationManager by shudnal). The mod itself is unchanged.

1.0.0

  • First release: the DigiTeam mods in this category combined into one, with an on/off switch per mod at the top of the settings.
