El frío viento del invierno susurra antiguas profecías y el eco de un pasado que no perdona.
Pero la verdadera amenaza apenas comienza.
Moder, la dragona de hielo y furia desatada, despierta de su letargo con una rabia ancestral. Su cólera es el fuego helado de una venganza sin fin, un castigo reservado para el Niño del Invierno — aquel que osó acercarse a Fader, el padre de los dioses, susurrándole secretos desde el norte profundo, y que con su presencia sembró temor y desconfianza en el corazón del gran dios. Esas palabras lo volvieron paranoico y vengativo, imponiendo leyes opresivas y castigos brutales. Así, su gobierno se transformó en una tiranía.
Cuando el Rey de la Llama Esmeralda voló al sur para visitar al rey mago de los Fulings, sus propios thegns se alzaron contra él e incendiaron el palacio con el Niño del Invierno aún dentro. Todos los que estábamos vivos en ese momento oímos su grito resonar durante los nueve días del incendio, y su eco aún se escucha en las calles de la ciudad, semanas después...
"Esos fueron los últimos días buenos que conocimos, antes del regreso de nuestro rey."
Al descubrir que sus propios súbditos habían matado al Niño, Fader se sumió en una ira implacable que arrastró a su reino a lo que hoy conocemos como las Ashlands.
Al ver el reino de su compañero reducido a cenizas, Moder se exilió en alguna montaña al norte de aquellas tierras calcinadas. Allí espera, consumida por el dolor y la furia, el momento de vengarse de aquel que envenenó su mente. Su ira le impide razonar. Pero la profecía habla: de ella surgirá la lágrima que te permitirá domar a sus hijos, y sus últimas palabras esbozarán su deseo final de venganza.
Te verás obligado a corresponderle, llevando a sus hijos hasta el Norte Profundo… para encontrar al Niño del Invierno, o aquello que lo llevó a destruir su reino.
Mientras avanzas en este mundo brutal y salvaje, sentirás el peso de esta guerra divina. La batalla no es solo por la supervivencia, sino por restaurar el equilibrio roto y enfrentar el destino, y la venganza de la dragona madre, motivada por su dolor.
