Pet Protection for v1.0

An updated version of Selective Pet Protection by MagnusMagnuson, adapted for Valheim 1.0.

Features

• Blue shield / Stun Recovery: prevents a protected tamed pet from dying and places it into a recovery state.
• While a pet is recovering, incoming damage is ignored before the normal damage/AI reaction is processed, preventing attacks from waking it early.
• Gold shield / Immortal: provides immortal protection.
• Changing the protection mode while a pet is recovering immediately finishes recovery and wakes the pet, providing a manual recovery/reset option.
• The normal recovery timer remains responsible for waking the pet automatically.

Controls

• Shift+T — cycle protection mode on the hovered tamed creature.
• !stun — apply blue-shield stun/recovery protection.
• !god — apply immortal protection.
• !none — remove protection.

Multiplayer

For multiplayer use, it is recommended that the host and players who interact with protected pets use the same version of the mod.

Installation

Requires BepInExPack Valheim.

Install with r2modman / Thunderstore Mod Manager, or place the DLL in your BepInEx plugins folder.

Do not run this mod alongside the original Selective Pet Protection at the same time; use one or the other.

Credits

Selective Pet Protection was originally created by MagnusMagnuson. This package updates the mod for Valheim 1.0 and retains the original project's protection concept and controls.
